Despite my dislike for mushrooms, I would still like to try them someday. The fact that this is made with mushrooms would not have been obvious to me however. I have never had a flavor that I didn't enjoy. The mushrooms were so delicious that I even fooled three family members who dislike mushrooms as well. Despite this, they are huge fans of Moku jerky. Sweet & Spicy Original was perfect the way it is, Hawaiian Teriyaki was slightly sweet but not too much, and Sweet & Spicy Sweet & Spicy Original was tasty the way it is There is just a bit of sweet and a bit of spice in At the same time, it is not overpowering. You don't have to "tear" at it to think it's jerky, but it's tough enough to make you think it's jerky. It is soft enough so that you can easily eat it. This is a huge accomplishment! Please make a way to close the bag, that's my only suggestion to the company. I've taken a proactive approach to eating healthier snacks and meals since the pandemic began. In order to take this to a new level this year, our family has decided to consume as little animal product as possible. This plant based jerky has been a huge help in that endeavor. Even though my husband doesn't eat mushrooms, he really enjoys this jerky. He loves beef, especially beef jerky, and doesn't usually eat meat, but he does enjoy this jerky. His testimony is definitely more convincing than mine, as I am a big fan of vegetables. I like all the flavors, but I especially like the spicy one.
