It was my first time ordering the Peppered kind on Amazon. I have ordered the Original and Teriyaki here on Amazon, but this was my first time ordering the Peppered kind (although I have bought the tiny bags in stores). When the package was opened immediately after it arrived, I noticed that the 16oz Peppered was not as soft as the other kinds. They are softer than those in the small bags, though. It can be a little difficult to identify the expiration date. It is at the bottom of the bag, in the middle, on the back. It is from the 9th of April 2020. Whenever you open a bag of food, place it in the fridge if you are not planning on using it I put my jerky in quality freezer bags and store it that way and have had good results.

There seems to be no end in sight to mainstream jerky

Jerky in the mainstream seems to be getting worse and worse. Since beef jerkey should be made of dried beef, how can it be so greasy and soggy all the time?.

Pepper products are normally not my cup of tea! This is something I can't seem to get enough of, is it? The chunks are huge and the bits and pieces are in small amounts. Very fresh!.

I liked the Jerky because it was dry and flavorful. I wouldn't say it's really soft. This was a good meal, and it had a great taste and a pleasant spice. Thank you.

I can't seem to get my hands on this jerky until I wrestle with my husband and nephews. When they get their Amazon boxes, they are so amusing to watch.

Mold was growing in one of the bags

I have not received a response from the I'm so angry. The 2 bags I've been buying since 2 years ago are fine. In this order, one bag is totally free The seller did not respond to me and I didn't know about the guarantee with Amazon so it was out of my price range.
