Sweet and salty were the tastes of most of them Their taste was more syrupy than savory, and their texture was stiff However, this pear cactus is a very unusual plant Honestly, it is the best flavored jerky I have ever tasted, it may have been a tiny bit sweeter than needed, but it is still about the best I can do for the cost.
It is flavorful, moist, and easy to digest. This is something I really really mean. This is my favorite vegan or vegetarian dish because it is soft, flavorful, and moist. Although I am not a vegan or vegetarian, whenever possible, I substitute vegan or vegetarian dishes and snacks. Whenever I say that it is moist, I mean that it is easily chewed A fun snack that is easy on your It is surprising to me how impressive the flavor is for my husband who is a carnivore. I applaud you for making it easy to eat. Thank you, thank you, thank you. The book has been purchased three times for me and I will continue to buy it.
I have still found this product to be the best vegan jerky I have ever tasted. My favorite flavor is salt and pepper. I would appreciate if you added two packs of that flavor with it. I have bought from Amazon MANY times and am sure I will do so again in the near future.
Although it pains me to write a bad review of this product, clearly this is a small company trying hard to make a good product that serves a niche market, but this product falls short when compared to other options. During my first bag's taste test it was OK but very bland, while the second bag had an almost rotten taste to it. There were no exceptions to the extreme firmness and excessive chewing and drying found in both bags. This one is not for you. I recommend the Noble or the Unisoy instead. Though the Unisoy is quite expensive.
I had previously chosen another brand's BBQ flavor which I love, but this one In general, I like teriyaki, but it didn't really catch my attention in this product. It's sweet and garlicky, if you like that flavor profile. Too much garlic and not enough salt to balance the flavors. It's not the product itself that is the problem it's just the flavor that I do not like. Now I only have 2 bags left to finish, and I don't know if I will be able to finish them. Although some bacon bits may not be the best to replace, this company does make a good substitute.
As a vegetarian and knowing how much protein I can get from veggies over animal products, I have been really pleased with the variety of food and this plant based jerky is pretty good and so far, I don't feel like I have to give up eating meat. The fact that I am walking beside cows and pigs makes me feel excellent as they used to shiver when I passed by. Seeing that I won't go hungry for real meat, now they can sleep better at night.
Tubes are used to form the jerky Those chunky strips are dry with a chunky This is a nice sweet and salty mix of flavor, but if you do not like the sweet undertone, this vegan jerky is not I did notice that there were more products in the bag compared to some other brands I have used. I found it hard to chew since it didn't have a good "jerky" taste. There is a feeling that this snack is more like pressed vegetable protein, which is fine, but not really what I expect from jerky. Don't be afraid to give it a try if you are unsure. However, I am not sure I would buy it again, though I can see how some people might enjoy the fact that it does not really reflect a meat-centric diet This is a jerky based on beef.
Vegan Jerky is a product I've tried a lot, and this brand on my list of favorites. Almost all of them are difficult for me due to their texture. I like that the texture of the fruit is not too hard so that it sticks in my teeth and is impossible to chew. It is best to eat it with teriyaki flavor.
