Questions & Answers

What is the price difference between this and the store bought ones in southern California? The burgers are pretty good, even though I'm not an Adventist or vegetarian. ?

Southern California stores don't charge the same as those in the Northeast, but buying a case will save you money. It is hard for me to find individual cans of Linketts at the East Coast. I love the taste of it! I have not found a meatless hotdog that tastes as good as this one!

There are how many dogs in a can and will one fit on a bun of regular size?

You will be able to tell what size is right for your They come in a regular size of about 8 and a super size of I believe so! The buns must be regular size for them to work.

The small Franks are the same as the big Franks?

I do not think they are identical, but similar. Since 2015, I've not checked to see if Big Franks are still made, but as of 2015, I thought they were. A Linkett is a smaller round cookie with a slight difference in both taste and texture from a Big Frank. Big Franks are my favorite, but Linketts are my grandchildren's favorite.

As a result, the number Do you think 99 for 12 cans is too much?

Presently, there is a problem with the product Prior to that, it was AWESOME
3/5

It is best to start at the bottom and work your way Lastly, I would like to announce the final update There was a problem with my last update. Eventually, they got back to me and acknowledged that there WAS a change to the recipe. They failed to articulate the change, but we all agree that it tastes awful. The feedback I provided has never been heard from again. Although most people may not see the change as a big deal, we find it quite distinctive and considered it I have an update #3 that will follow. The end of the month of The following continue to occur despite the follow-up In spite of multiple attempts to track down the problem, I have not received any explanation or assurance it has been identified and fixed. As a result, I am very disappointed at this point and won't be purchasing this product at this time. This will be the only time. Sadly, we weren't as long-lasting as we wanted to be Fans of this product for many years Over a period of As a result of the refund, I was able to break even, but all I want is to see quality products on the market again. The company really should recall the bad batches, and make this known to the public. * Update In response to a later communication with Atlantic Natural, they are looking into the issue and I've been sent a refund. told me they'd get back to me when their investigation is complete. In that case, please contact the company if you received a faulty product. Personally, I think they ought to offer some compensation for all the hassle and the fact that the product was so awful, but at least I made some money and the company's communication was courteous and righteous. This was an inedible treat for me. * Update * The Atlantic company replaced the faulty lot, but according to them they did not pay attention to my request for a different lot and sent me the same lot as before. Although it appears well packaged, it arrived in a terribly damaged state (not their fault, since it was well packed, but I guess it was exceptionally rough). There are two issues to consider In light of unsafe seam damage and the same lot, I could not try them or feel confident in seeing how the same lot would differ. It is a great product we have loved for decades, and we are willing to wait to see if Atlantic can make this work. As far as I can tell, they have been very honorable, and I believe they will make a good decision So please contact them as soon as possible if you have a problem. The original is The ones I got were terrible - just received them A best by date of March 20, 2021 has been set. It is the same or nearly the same date in another case that the company sent me. Although they claim that they did not change the recipe, I agree with you that there is something amiss. In our house we eat them straight out of the can or the fridge without adding ketchup or mustard. This batch both tastes and looks off. I got some "gristly" bits last iteration. The hotdogs had "clumps" in them, so maybe they tried to fix that (hint to them if they didn't). A review of the new arrival from the company will follow when I sample it. In order to investigate, they requested I send back the cans from the bad case, so I will do so. I will let those who are affected know how the new ones mitigate or make it right if they aren't I have been really impressed with them so far. There is too much money to be spent on getting poor quality When they are good, it's well worth it!.

In linkettes, textures are not what we're used to
3/5

It had a very rubbery texture and the links were crooked. The ones I usually get at Andy's in College Place WA aren't what I'm used to. While I think the flavor was slightly off due to texture, I believe the texture was what really made it off. There was a lot of disappointment among the kids. It is very common for them to consume them straight from do so Luckily (since this product cannot be returned)
they still work well fried, for linkette sandwiches, except for my youngest who was not cool with them at all. 13-year-old who does not usually eat an entire can of soda on her own stated no. )I would try another case, but I can't.

As it is, it is fine
3/5

Despite the lack of flavor, the experience was enjoyable.
It's not that they taste bad, it's just that there isn't a lot of flavor to begin with. There was a pre-election meeting So I had high hopes at least it would be mostly enjoyable. But the texture of this dish resembled a dollar store brand discount bin. For cooking, I used a George Forman grill, the grill lines didn't brown at all just got more firm, which was hard for someone like me, a texture change like that makes me gag, but I don't think it would be an issue for most people. It appears the app also requests the temperature and thickness of the food.
The thickness is very much like that of prepackaged hotdogs, and What is the heat retention factor? It would have been impossible for them to stay cold with that kind of mass.

Is a new recipe in sight after 40 years? IT DOES NOT TASTE THE SAME
3/5

THE TEXTURE IS NOT THE SAME. I HATE the new changes! Over the past 40 years, Loma Linda Linketts have been a staple of my diet. It has been a great pleasure to have them around. It has been this way until now! Last case I received I believe will end up in the garbage disposal, as they seem to have totally changed the recipe. I hate it! There is a rubbery texture to the surface. There is a lot of water added to the flavor. It is even several shades lighter than the original. I hate these! The taste and texture of these are terrible and I will not be buying more unless I hear that they went back to the old recipe. SAD! The band we liked used to be much better, but now they're just a shell of what they were for so many.

A new recipe has been added
3/5

There has been a change in the recipe. It is so disappointing to me. Linketts have been a part of my diet since childhood. This new texture is not to my liking.

It is a great product
5/5

I was hesitant to order these after reading reviews that alleged changes had been made. In fact, things have changed for the better, but they have changed for the worse. When they were first introduced, their taste was great, but their texture was lacking. The meaty texture and taste of these hotdogs is just like real My guess is that people who don't like the change have never eaten a 'proper' pigsnout hotdog because they've all been vegetarian their entire lives. The dogs presented here are spot on and I am certain most non-vegetarians would have no idea.

This is one of the most popular vegan/vegetarian products on the market today! I'm so glad to have met you
5/5

On a Friday, I ordered this, and it was delivered on a Sunday. Do you really think that's true? I appreciate how excellent your service was. Thanks so Since I first used this product, my love for it has never changed. There is a mild vegetarian meat here that you should get if you like that type of meat. There are still a few remaining products, but others have either gone away In order to become a Vegetarian or a vegan, Linketts are a good place to start. Open the can and eat the food as is if that's what you wish to do. Put the meat on the grill, braise it in the microwave, or microwave it and add the condiments. I'm sure you'll find the perfect way to do this!.
