The clams are sandy and mushy, with a weak flavor. I would have chosen boiled clams over smoked clams if I didn't want any flavor. br>br>On a side note, Amazon did not include these 12-packs of cigarettes in the box. Cases should be packed with care. At least three cans in the case arrived severely dented, out of a total of twelve. That's something else to think about.
They must have drained or rinsed the clam juice away because there was no flavor or taste. br>I wouldn't be able to tell what it was if I took a bite with my eyes closed.
These clams can be sandy or have bits of shell, but even if they don't, my cat and I enjoy eating them. Lolbr>br>Flavor isn't overpowering, the oil is mild, and there's never anything fishy about it.
Good sense of taste.
Smoked oysters and smoked baby clams are two of our favorites, and they're delicious on a variety of crackers!.
The first clam can had a lot of sand in it. It was possible that it was a faulty can, I reasoned. As a result, I gave it another shot. Sandy. Then there was another, all of which were sandy. Perhaps I received a bad batch. br>br> Regardless, these clams have a high sand content and are extremely unpleasant to eat. The clam's internals contain the sand, which cannot be washed away. br>br>I recommend that you consider other options.
br>Don't throw your money away.
The flavor is fantastic. In my neighborhood, they are hard to come by. I am overjoyed to have them in my life.
