You'll love these if you like sugary clams
3/5

Keep an eye out for the ingredients. I used these to make Manhattan clam chowder, but I failed to read the ingredients because I assumed they would only contain clams and possibly some salt. I make a lot of soup from scratch, and it's a labor-intensive process. a time-consuming procedure that necessitates the use of a large quantity of fresh, expensive produce I tasted the soup after adding three cans of these clams and letting it simmer for an hour or so, and I was surprised by how sweet it was—despite the fact that I hadn't added any sugar. That was my initial impression. To find the culprit, I had to rummage through the trash. Of course, I started with the canned tomatoes, which were a sale brand I didn't usually buy. However, there is no sweetener in this dish. I almost dismissed it, but because my soup had gone bad, I double-checked the clams can, and there it was: Sugar is added to Bumble Bee's canned clams. Sugar in clams, I say again. Bumble Bee, you've just ruined my soup.

Unless you enjoy Clam-flavored Kevlar, this is a disaster
3/5

Awful. It's impossibly difficult. Even before warming/cooking, the meat was unchewable. This was a complete waste of money. br>Before Bumble Bee, these were actually quite good. Now that they've been cooked to death in the can, tenderizing them is impossible.

They aren't the same as they once were! For the past eight years, I've been purchasing chopped clams
3/5

They've been used in clam chowder for ten years. At a nearby store, I buy individual cans. I've bought four lots of ten cans over the last year, and I've noticed that Bumble Bee has reduced the number of chopped clams in each can and increased the amount of clam broth. Greed, greedy greedy greedy greedy greedy greedy greedy greedy greedy greedy greedy greed They're still tasty.

Snow's Bumble Bee CHOPPED CLAMS in Clam Juice are completely vile
3/5

They are so sweet that they taste like clams. In case you're wondering, clams make a terrible dessert. Bumble Bee's next project - Crab cakes with a sugar icing? It's no surprise that obesity and diabetes are at epidemic levels in the United States. Bumble Bee, you've done a fantastic job.

Clams with sugar
3/5

absurd . EW! Clams with sugar. Those aren't the Snow's clams, which Fred Snow used to can in Scarborough, Maine, as some of us recall. (Before Bordens, Kraft, and Bumblebee purchased the trademark).
