Questions & Answers

Is it possible to make a seafood choward out of these?

I'm not sure what a "seafood choward" is, to be honest. However, you can make a delectable Clam Chowder with them! They come with a lot of clam juice, which you can save and use in your chowder base. delectable! Bumble Bee Whole Baby Clams are caught, raised, and packaged in Indonesia or China, so be aware. Bumble Bee Chopped Clams labeled "Snow's" were caught and packaged in the United States. Examine the labels on your products.
PS: The clams have already been prepared and are ready to eat. Do not reheat them: Warm the clams in butter 10 minutes before serving the chowder, then add them to the chowder.

Where did these little clams come from?

This is a rebuttal to David M.'s response. That's me on the left! After doing some research on the internet, I discovered that I was both correct and incorrect about my answer. So I dialed the San Diego office of Bumble Bee. What they said to me was this: br>br>In 2004, Bumble Bee purchased Snow's brand. Farm-raised Bumble Bee clams are produced in Indonesia, but they are now primarily consumed in China. The country is indicated by the can. If the Bumble Bee can include the words Snow's and Wild Caught, they have been caught in the United States. New Jersey is the processing center for the North Atlantic seashores. br>br>From now on, the label must have Snow's on it.

These Bumble Bee Fancy Whole Baby Clams do not appear to be whole clams, but rather chopped baby clams
3/5

These aren't whole baby clams, in my opinion, and shouldn't be advertised as such. They look like chopped baby clams to me.

4/5

I wish there were more whole clams instead of so many broken up clams. My homemade clam chowder tasted fantastic with it.

These clams are exceptionally delicious
5/5

The quality of these clams did not disappoint me. I'm sold on this product; the only flaw was a minor dent in the can, which had no effect on the contents. I'm going to stock up on more in my pantry.

I was let down
3/5

Pieces were supposed to be bigger, but there were a lot of broken small pieces. There's no difference between this brand and others that are less expensive. br>The quality of a product does not always correspond to its cost.
