This has to be the worst product on the market (let's not even get into the exorbitant price. . . ), and I would choose it if there were no stars available. For a lower price, do a Google search. (Assuming you don't have any senses of taste or smell). The fact that I had to open the can gave me an idea of how disgusting this stuff is. The lobster, what about it? What kind of lobster are you talking about? There was what looked like a tail in another life, but it was all bone. no meat. The only thing that remained was some gray mush and heaven-sent fungi. only- who is aware of what Buy a couple of lobsters at your local supermarket and they'll cook them for you for half the price. Take them home and you'll have fresh lobster meat for very little effort. I've never written such a harsh review before, but please do yourself a favor and stay away from this stuff.
One can barely holds enough lobster to make a lobster roll. There are no "chunks" of meat, only teeny-tiny pieces, the majority of which are still attached to their green guts. The money spent was not well spent.
I've never made a worse purchase. less than 4 oz lobster "meat" that looked like sweepings from the floor or a work table, mixed in with one or two claw pieces with cartilage embedded - To make up for the advertised 6 oz per can, everything is packed in "sea water. " When the vendor refused to accept returns for the product, I should have known something was wrong; instead, you'd be better off throwing $40 in the trash!.
We were in desperate need of lobster rolls and were overjoyed to discover canned lobster. It tastes just like fresh lobster, but it comes from a can. There isn't a trace of green in this place. Yes, it's a little pricey, and you don't get much, but what you do get is top-notch. Take a look around to see if you can do better than we did. We were unable to do so. This was the simplest and most delicious lobster rolls we've had in a long time; highly recommended. This product is gluten-free. In the can, there is nothing but water, lobster, vinegar, and salt. And it's straight from Maine; we had no problems with it at all.
This product is an acceptable substitute, but it should only be used in recipes and should not be consumed on its own. I'm not sure I'll place another order.
Maine lobster is difficult to come by in the South, and I wanted to make lobster mac and cheese. Despite the price, I decided to give this a try; above all, I'm grateful to have had the option to try this product; however, the color was so off-putting that I had a difficult time eating it.
As a broke college student, I ordered this product in the hopes of saving my boyfriend and me money on Valentine's Day dinner. I planned to make a meal out of the lobster meat I had ordered. I was surprised at how small the can was when it arrived, but I figured that for $30, it would still be delicious. When I went online to look for the perfect recipe, I came across some negative feedback, so I decided to open one of the cans and see for myself. I almost choked as I peeled back the parchment paper, which smelled foul and revealed grayish, foul-looking meat. I poked the meat because I was curious and found it to be mush. I had the urge to cry. I can't believe I wasted my money on this rancid product; I'd rather eat pigs' feet than that stinky gray mush. It's two days until my fancy home-cooked dinner, and I haven't had any lobster yet:.
Great flavor, but it's a bit pricey and takes a long time to arrive.
