Personally, I would never put lobster in the microwave. Is this a secure environment? Yes.
It does come frozen, packaged in a styra foam and cardboard box. This is an excellent item. Wholeys has Dan.
Hello, and welcome. You could put them in freezer-safe ziplock bags one at a time. Remove as much air as possible and tightly seal the bags before placing them in the freezer. They'll last for two years if stored properly. 3 months or more if sealed properly. I hope this information is helpful, and please let us know if there is anything else we can do. I placed an order for the 10-pack of cigarettes. tails 5- They arrived in two days in good condition, but they were still frozen. It didn't matter which one I chose, they were all delicious. The issue was that none of the ten were worth more than four points. 41oz. The tiniest of the bunch weighed only three pounds. 88oz. They were weighed while still frozen inside and with the extra water weight. I would have returned them, but they were for a Christmas meal, and we would not have received the replacements in time, and who knows, they might have all been underweight once more. But, oh well, one must learn from one's mistakes.
Those tails were not happy at all; they were all broken, and the shells were so thin that it was impossible to get the lobster meat out without getting lobster shell all over the place. We would never offer those to the public on the east coast of Canada, where I grew up. They had been dead for days before they were frozen, resulting in mushy, disgusting meat. Warning: DO NOT BUY THESE LOBSTER TAILS OR YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED.
At . It's very small! At the very least, three per person. At that size, it's prohibitively expensive.
To begin with, they were almost completely defrosted when they arrived. They had not been properly packaged for the summer heat. They're tiny, about 5 ounces. Each person will require at least two. They are extremely expensive for the price, and you would be better off purchasing lobster from a local seafood market.
These tails have been grilled, broiled, and baked. Fresh lobster is sweeter, but this isn't it. But, if you don't live in Maine, what can you expect?br>I agree with another reviewer that two out of ten tails had to be thrown out because the meat was dark and even black around the edges. The weight is also closer to 4 oz than 6 oz. However, the total cost of each tail, including waste, was $15. The issue appears to be shared by all other vendors. I don't like paying $20 for a tail only to have one or two discarded. br>It arrived in good condition, but with the weather warming up, it should not be left on the porch. If you do decide to give it as a gift, don't make it a surprise.
With a dollop of drawn butter and a squeeze of lemon, this dish is simple and delicious. It's better than any tail you'll find in a restaurant. I'm from Boston, and it reminded me of summertime on Cape Cod with double lobster specials.
Arrived on time, and everything was frozen to perfection. I'm really looking forward to trying them.
They tasted great. They arrived frozen, with a lot of flavor; I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.
