There was a smaller portion than expected, but the taste was good. As a whole, I'd prefer to buy a different brand, even while I would still recommend it to a friend provided I warn them that the portion is small.

The taste was good, though! I have never seen a lobe that was so flat It has a circumference of over one inch in the middle, then thins out to the edges

It is cruel and inhumane on Amazon

I find it disappointing that Amazon continues to sell foie gras, which an undercover investigation revealed is produced by grabbing ducks by the delicate parts of their wings and necks and forcing metal tubes down their throats to force-feed them. Among the harrowing scenes were ducks hyperventilating from their unnaturally large livers pressing against their lungs, and workers hastily shackling them upside down and slitting their throats when the birds were Foie gras is so cruel that it has been prohibited in more than a dozen countries, by leading chefs and grocers, and even on Amazon, where it is sold. I couldn't find any reason why Amazon is allowing it to be sold in the U. S.
