The product is outstanding
5/5

I'm spoiled for choice. In my youth, I ate the finest fowl foie gras (over 60 years ago). Obviously, this is duck liver since goose liver is rare in France (even today it is near impossible to find goose liver in France). It is an excellent product from Canada. Considering the extra few dollars it costs for the 'with truffle', I think it should be worth the extra. In spite of the small percentage amount for the truffle, the truffle is evenly distributed along the entire length of the truffle. Images of the open product on other sites show this, and the delivered product is consistent with those images. You need to understand that this is pate/mousse, not slices (that is, whole liver pieces). There is a lovely flavor to the food. It is easy to open the cans. As far as covering 6 slices of baguette, I found it to be the perfect fit. A large amount of pate de fois gras can be spread The best part about this is that it is 'shelf stable', so it keeps in the pantry for up to a year with no problem. You do not need to refrigerate the product before use. To serve it, you should refrigerate it before opening it. As a result, the fat will solidify and remain as a coating, which will enhance the flavor of the dish. I have four tins in my pantry with my current order, so I will begin the new year with four tins.

The price is too high for me to consider ordering a product like The can of this will be my birthday gift to myself on my 57th birthday
3/5

It would have to be Foie Gras that I find the most delicious in the world. It seems I might have been better served by looking at another can first It's the same size as a tuna can with 17 ounces. We waited a few weeks for the package to arrive. However I did it, I followed what others had done and I put it in the reference. A grilled piece of bread and some food sat down in front of me. I HATE THAT! It was so disappointing and I feel like I got ripped off it might as well open up some Crisco shortening. A few bites went into the garbage and the rest went to the landfill. It's not cool to spend more than You can get a few bites for $. 00.

It was tasty
4/5

It was tasty. This small can represents three meals and can’t be used by more than three people. People who have purchased fois gras before know that it is extremely expensive and that this particular item comes in a very small can. A special occasion meant I had to purchase because my son was visiting from out of town. In the future, I would buy again if I needed portions that could serve two There were three people in the group. It's more cost-effective to order from Hudson Valley if I want to satisfy a greater number of people. Thank you for your understanding,.

That's way too fat
3/5

Foie gras was my first time eating it and it was an absolute disaster. Truth be told, I didn't have a clue what I was getting myself In my opinion, I prepared it according to instructions found on YouTube, and it turned out quite well. As soon as I tasted the fatty layer of the foie gras, I was cringing. The yellow Crisco tasted like it was yellowing my mouth. I'm not sure if this recipe is the best here, but if it is, it seems to be the best. There is only one thing I know about foie gras it's.

We know where it comes from
3/5

A disappointment. Neither does that taste like French foie gras, nor is it salty enough, and the quality is barely medium. The price of the product is too high for the quality. I wouldn't recommend it to guests, and I wouldn't serve it to myself.

Ads that are false
3/5

Foil gras pieces seemed like what I expected, so I ordered it. The pate is actually a fatty substance. This was disappointing, as it did not taste any better than the thing in the grocery store at the last minute with truffles.

Yet, this is convenient to have on hand in your pantry so that guests can enjoy when they arrive unexpectedly
4/5

Tastes quite good for a canned item. Fresh is best, but if you've invited unexpected guests, you may wish to keep this item stocked in the pantry. It would have been nice if the truffle flavor was more prominent.

This is disgusting
3/5

Sludge as disgusting as can be. I got some rich and creamy stuff a couple years ago. The food is barely fit for a cat.
