When and where do you make foie gras?

I am writing to let you know that Belle Farms raises their ducks in large coops with lots of room for them to roam and exercise. Over the past several weeks, the ducks have been hand-fed high-energy feed that has mainly sweet corn as its main ingredient. The key to a LaBelle Foie Gras is the special, proprietary handfeeding method.

The size of this thing surprised me

The only one who eats liver is me since my wife is not fond of it. Although it was very cold when it arrived, it did not freeze. After taking it out of the refrigerator, I cleaned, quartered it, sealed them in plastic, and put the three into the freezer. I cut the first one into half inch medallions, and I sauteed them. After that, I salted the liver and tasted it. There was a subtlety and elegance to it. On toasted sourdough bread, I ate what I could, and then broke up the leftovers and put them in a glass refrigerator container, poured the remaining oil from the pan over the top, sealed it and put it in the refrigerator. We've been eating off of it for about two weeks and even so there's still more food left, and it never tastes spoiled or old. You can get a lot of use out of this. My wife was surprised to see how mellow it is after I convinced her to try it. Although I love chicken livers, my wife won't even get near them. It's so nice to have the chance to enjoy a chicken liver. As a result, I am very pleased with the purchase and the three pieces that are still in my freezer for a few more.

This is disgusting. There was a beautiful lobe of foie gras about two pounds in size. I prepared the whole thing and the meat reduced to nothing but fat, leaving about six ounces of mealy flesh that was inedible. That was a complete waste of time.

I love the packaging, and the quality is great! Orders will be placed again in the future. The vendor where I buy my food regularly didn't have any foie gras unless I ordered it seperately and paid a fortune for it. I bought this foie gras because it was great quality and at a great price. It was packed in its own cooler with dry ice, so it was very fresh. I will order.

Just over 2 lbs of the poultry was a really large portion for me. I enjoyed the taste of the liver, and it arrived still frozen in under 24 hours. It was a high-quality product. I enjoyed it immensely with my whole family. Very satisfied with this product. I'd buy it again without a doubt.
