Selected User Reviews For Stouffer's Party Size Lasagna Italiano Frozen Meal
Nowadays, I always order the party size, and the price on Amazon is usually lower than in the local store! I used to get the family size before I realized there was a party size, which always meant smaller portions and everyone still hungry. Making two yielded an excessive amount of leftovers that no one wanted the next day because it never tasted right when reheated. Then, one day, while ordering on Amazon Fresh, I discovered the party size, which proved to be a game changer! Not only could each family member select a portion size that would never leave them hungry, but there was also the option of having seconds, and at a price that was not prohibitively expensive! br>Aside from that, here's a quick breakdown of the party size. br>br>••• Very easy to prepare; cooks in under two hours! br>••• Restaurant quality without the restaurant price!br>••• Can feed a family of four, including two teenagers (my family includes two growing teenagers, but not the lasagna) and still have enough for seconds! I don't want any of that, sir; may I have some more? That, after all, has never happened before. They didn't ask for anything else, and they didn't address me as sire; )br>••• I'd say Garfield gave his approval, but I don't want to get sued. Just to be safe, I'll say ®TM. Stouffer's Lasagna, as well as their meatballs, are favorites of my cat Snowy. I don't recall ever losing a meatball in my house because someone sneezed, but I recall years ago when my daughter would burst out laughing because my body suddenly sprang a pair of white paws, which would snatch one or two meatballs from my plate. Trimming his claws before dinner did nothing to change his bad habit. His soulmate and co-conspirator concocted a new scheme that made both of my children laugh uncontrollably when they were younger. The catowail double dash and man tactic was our name for it. Nikki, my wife's cat, would howl in pain, so when I jumped up quickly, thinking she was hurt, Snowy jumped on my chair, grabbed a meatball from my plate, and bolted. When I handed Chase the money, something miraculous happened. While I was chasing Snowy, Nikki stopped pretending to be in pain and took her turn dashing onto my chair and stealing a meatball! After a previous failed attempt, in which my dinner and cat both ended up on the floor, I ordered those small paper plates from Amazon and gave each one a meatball, ensuring that my dinner never fell to the floor again:.
Take note of the following: This is an XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Check to see if your freezer is big enough! That was not the case with mine.
It was great, but the instructions on the box were a little confusing. I did 1. For convection ovens, bake for 5 hours at 375°F. The recipe called for 1 hour 55 minutes of cooking time and did not specify a temperature, but it did say to preheat the oven to 400 degrees. I'm assuming baking takes less time than preheat? And because my oven is convection, it should be even lower, but I baked it at 375 degrees anyway. It turned out fantastically! More purchases are being made.
It was a little bland, and there wasn't a lot of cheese or sauce. It's even better if you get a bite with sausage, but that's a rare occurrence. Tomato chunks are more important than sauce. I'm not likely to buy it again, but if I did, I'd double the cheese and increase the sauce.
For a frozen dinner, it was better than expected. Tastes fantastic (much better than I had anticipated). For the price, you are getting a lot.
In the end, I decided to order pizza.
After my surgery, my friend replated it and delivered it to me. My entire family devoured it, believing it to be homemade.
For that price, there isn't much cheese, meat, or ricotta, and there isn't much cheese, meat, or ricotta.
