PastaCheese Fresh Medium Square Pumpkin Ravioli, 14 Ounce (Pack of 4)

So these ravioli arrived today (a full day ahead of schedule!). ) and the box said "Perishable," so I ripped it open right away. A Styrofoam box is inside, along with two ice packs and the words "Keep Frozen. " However, the ravioli were not frozen, only cool from the ice, so I assumed it meant to freeze anything you aren't going to eat. I cooked a dozen after opening one package and putting the rest in the freezer. The cooking instructions are 9-inches by 9-inches by 9-inches by I put the frozen ravioli in boiling water and lowered the heat until they all floated to the top and were perfectly al dente (I know from experience). However, while these ravioli are delicious, they're small, barely filled, and because they don't contain ricotta, they cook up doughy. I wouldn't buy these again because they are overpriced for what you get, but they do taste good with butter, so I give them three stars for that.

After ordering something else, Amazon sent these to me by mistake. I was irritated at first because the other item was supposed to be a gift, but they quickly rectified the situation and refunded my money. Anyway - I'm just leaving a review to say how delicious these are. I'm not sure I'd be willing to pay the asking price, but if I did, I wouldn't be disappointed. It has a homey feel to it without all the effort. Made with salted water and brown butter (tasted with parmigiano reggiano as well, but preferred the butter-only version). Perfect!.
