That is not the case for me. I added garlic powder, olive oil, salt, pepper, and a pinch of fresh red pepper, but it was still too strong for me to swallow. I'm not normally a picky eater, but it was as if I had mowed my back yard and then attempted to eat it straight from the mower. This is merely my personal viewpoint.
A great deal more! I went with the Creamy Spinach. Linguini with Tomatoes I used the 4 to follow the simple microwave instructions. The time limit is five minutes. Coming out of the oven, it was extremely hot, so I removed the top layer of plastic and poured it into a lipped plate. Because the container has two layers, it's a little clumsy. With the help of a soup spoon, I was able to get everything onto the plate with minimal effort. I was disappointed by the lack of diced tomatoes, but that was to be expected. The noodle were fully cooked, and the cream was satisfactory. With the exception of the spinach, there wasn't much flavor. I will buy this again and would recommend it if you can handle the higher carb content (35g) for what you are getting if you can handle the salt content (24% of da To improve the dish, I'm willing to add more diced tomatoes and possibly black olives.
I don't like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen, so I buy a bunch of these and freeze them. They cook quickly in the microwave, and I sometimes add a bag of steaming vegetables to make it a more substantial meal. It all depends on how hungry I am at the time. They're a real time saver in my opinion. I wish they came in a package that wasn't made up of two pieces of plastic that had to be washed and recycled. But I'm going to keep buying them.
Salutations to all! This is my honest opinion on Simply Steamers. When the proprietors read a critical review, you can bet they start praying. But there's no need to be concerned about the taste. This steamer has a flavor that I really like. Now, keep in mind that everyone on the planet has a different taste in food. Just because one person enjoys something does not mean you will as well. The flavor appeals to me because it is flavorful, light, and not overpowering. I think it's perfect, especially since we're trying to avoid soy, and I hope this helps. In general, I'm not a big fan of spinach. It's something I put in my eggs. But this was slimy, old spinach that had been wet for a long time.
Tip: Remove from freezer and place in wok to defrost. Add skim milk to the mix. a surplus of vegetables Stir in the parmesan cheese and serve. It's the best, and it's fantastic as a foundation!.
So I've never tried it on its own, but it's really good with some red pepper flakes, garlic, and a smidgeon of parmesan cheese. It wasn't the best meal, but it wasn't the worst either.
