I wasn't a fan of how sweet it was
3/5

I wasn't a fan of how sweet it was. I was expecting something along the lines of thousand island or fry sauce, but it's incredibly sweet. They clearly use sweet relish instead of dill relish. It's a matter of taste, but I don't like it. Others have likened it to the Big Mac sauce from McDonald's. Certainly not! That is an assertion with which I strongly disagree.

Burger Sauce Condiment from Best Foods
5/5

This Best Foods burger sauce is tasty, and while it may appear to be a replica of the classic burger secret sauce/1000 island dressing, which is made up of mayonnaise, ketchup, and relish, this product lacks the essential ingredient of secret sauce/thousand island dressing: tomato. This burger sauce is made with the company's mayonnaise, sweet relish ingredients, as well as other spices and colors. br>br>The flavor has a kick to it, and like all flavors, it will appeal to some people and not to others. It complements a variety of foods and is a finishing touch for a variety of sandwiches, and it saves time because there is no need to combine ingredients to create a flavorful sauce because it is ready to use. br>br>The upside-down squeeze bottle is shaped to make it easy to get a good grip on it, and it has an inner foil seal to keep the product fresh and undamaged. After opening, keep it refrigerated. To make a shelf-life estimation The Best By date for life is six months from now, but dates may vary. This is fantastic.

Sauce created by Best Foods
4/5

I was expecting this to taste like the "special sauce" used by some burger joints, and it does, but if you're looking for an exact replica, this isn't it. It is, however, a tasty relish-based sauce with mayonnaise and ketchup that goes well with hamburgers. It's similar to 1000 island dressing, but it has its own flavor profile, and it's well worth trying if you want to spice up your burgers. I've been using it in place of ketchup and mayo, and I've been enjoying it. br>br>This package contains 6 bottles, so if you're not sure if you'll like it, look for a single bottle first; fortunately, I enjoy it, though I will say it isn't for everyone. My family is divided on this. Half of my family enjoys it, while the other half does not. Even so, having another condiment option is nice when we have burgers, which we do frequently. I also tried it with chicken and fish, and neither of those proteins worked for me. I prefer to eat this with a burger, which is fine. Overall, this is a good product; I've never tried anything like it before, so it's been nice to try something new as we approach summer, which is hamburger season in my house.

I'm not sure what this sauce is supposed to take the place of
3/5

Is this a relish or a sauce? Is it a ketchup and mustard substitute, or do I have to use it in addition to the other toppings? br>br>I know what I like on my burger, and it's usually a fair amount of traditional yellow mustard and slightly less ketchup, but not so much that it's squishing out from under the bun every time I take a bite. I saw the color of this sauce and assumed it was meant to be a replacement for the three above-mentioned condiments. Because the flavor is a little difficult to distinguish, I mentioned condiments. br>br>Recently, perhaps because it's summer, I've been craving a good, flavorful, home-made burger, and for me, that begins with grass-fed beef. fed beef. If you've ever had a grass-fed beef, you'll know what I'm talking about. You can't go back now, fed burger. The beef flavor is much richer and more present than in the less expensive corn-fed beef. fed beef (which is less expensive but has risks, such as e. g. E. coli is more common in corn-based products. fed on beef) Given that, and the fact that I'm a self-proclaimed foodie, I'm picky about what goes on my burger, but I decided to give this a shot today. br>br>As I previously stated, it's difficult to tell what this sauce is attempting to be right out of the bottle, as I never grew up with a "classic burger sauce" (and I'm curious if anyone else has, as I've never heard of burger sauce). What I discovered is that it has a tangy and sweet flavor, just as advertised. That isn't what I want on my burger, as it turns out. br>br>The flavor isn't bad, but it's a little off-putting to my taste buds. Underneath the beef, tomato, ketchup, cheddar, and toasted brioche bun that came with it, I detected a hint of sweetness. I only used a small amount to lightly coat the bottom of the bun on my burger. br>br>If you pick this up, don't throw it away if it's not what you're looking for in a burger. I'm thinking this would be delicious on grilled chicken or as a sauce for broiled salmon and other meats. By referring to it as a classic "burger" sauce, I believe Best Foods is pigeonholing itself. When it came to my burger, it didn't work for me, but now that I've thought about it, I'm going to try it with some other meats. If you're willing to try something new, it might be worth your while.

Burgers, nuggets, and other foods benefit from this sauce
4/5

This is quite tasty; in fact, I believe it is the Big Mac's "special sauce. " Similar to Thousand Island dressing, but with a tangier, less sweet flavor. It's great on a big, juicy burger, but it's also great as a dipping sauce for chicken nuggets. When I'm too lazy to do much, I keep a large bag of Tyson frozen chicken nuggets in my freezer for dinner. This is a great alternative to making honey mustard or simply using barbecue sauce with those nuggets. br>br>I ordered six bottles, which will take a long time to finish. I'm keeping three, giving one to my sister, and leaving two in the lunchroom for the guys at my husband's workplace to try. Once they've all had a chance to try it out, I'll update my review. br>br>I'm thinking about trying it on the smoked sausage weenies that come in a cheesy bun size. It has the potential to be fantastic!.
