It was smart of you to cook for 6 minutes in the microwave before seasoning in a hot pan. Don't just pop it in the microwave and leave it to cool. That way, they don't look very appetizing. However, after being cooked in a pan and spiced, they were a huge hit:.
Because they are so watery, I can't imagine anyone eating them without putting them in a soup. I cooked according to the directions in a pan with a lid, then transferred to a strainer and pressed repeatedly with a spatula for a few minutes to extract the water, before plating and topping with marinara. Water began to form a moat around the plates' edges, which I absorbed with a paper towel, then another, and then another. More water kept seeping out, so I gave up and tried to eat it, but it was so wet and disgusting that I threw it out and cooked something else.
I kept it frozen until I needed it, then put it in the fridge to thaw before using it. It was only a week after I bought it that I tried it out.
I'm going to make zucchini spaghetti for the first time, and I'm hoping it turns out well.
Love! I made it with smoked paprika, steel oats (rather than rice), garlic, and aged cheddar. It's tasty and filling.
These zucchini spirals have a good flavor, but they're a little slimy and soggy. I still enjoyed eating it, especially because it's so simple and quick to prepare. Simply place the bag on a plate in the microwave and heat for a few minutes. The vegetable is effectively steamed by the bag. The bag was dripping everywhere after cooking, with tiny bits of zucchini stuck on the inside walls of my microwave, which I had to wipe down and mop up. After cooking, the bag is completely soaked and filled with water, so you'll need to drain it before eating. br>br>I'm going to stick to the traditional way of cooking zucchini. That way, it tastes a lot more fresh. This item is serviceable, but not exceptional. It serves one or two people, and it's a great way to make your meal a little healthier while saving time.
I've had fresh zucchini spirals and liked them, but something goes horribly wrong when they're frozen. When zucchini is frozen and then cooked, it loses all of its moisture. I was left with a stringy, flavorless mess that was difficult to chew and choke on.
Perfect for soups.
