I'm not sure about a pressure cooker, but the jar, like Ragu or any other sauce, should be tightly sealed. If it wasn't sealed, I wouldn't even consider eating it.
This gravy (sauce) is delicious and very close to being made from scratch.

So, I'm in the desert of Arizona, and we have no idea what pasta sauces are. I have five children who enjoy making pasta. To be honest, when I went to order groceries, I had two options: this or some strange no-sugar-added item. I wouldn't normally spend $10 on pasta sauce. LET ME TELL YOU, WE WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER.
I'm a transplanted Italian who grew up in New York and can make homemade pasta sauce. This is a fantastic sauce that comes from a jar. My only criticism is that it's a little too proudly priced, so you'll have to decide for yourself how good it is.
Are you a fan of Rao's arrabbiata sauce but want to try something new? Me too. Mike left that crappy job and horrible commute and never looked back, and now we can all enjoy his sauce, which began in a small Brooklyn apartment and was given as gifts to Mike's family and friends for years until they finally persuaded him to quit that crappy job he hated and make arrabbiata sauce full time. So, I'm not sure if that's how the story goes, but this sauce tastes exactly like it. That one friend who always gets that one dish, sauce, or dessert just right, and you know it's going to be good when you walk into that tiny, stuffy, steamy kitchen. It is. Simply buy it and top it with sausage, meatballs, parmesan, or whatever else you like, or eat it plain. Enjoy! Mike is looking for that.
Michaels is not one of them! It was well worth the money. From the jar to the pan to the plate, everything was perfect. In addition, I usually have to use two jars for a family of five with other brands, but with this brand, one jar feeds the entire family. One of these delectable Michaels jars costs the same as two jars plus additional ingredients for another brand. There is no added sugar - Sweet sauces irritate me! A simple ingredient list and the most natural flavor - as if plucked right out of the garden! This sauce is one of my favorites.
It's filling, delicious, and you can top it with whatever you want (like fried Italian sausage (sweet, hot, or a combination of the two) and onions). When you want "something good," but don't know what it is or don't want to spend a lot of time creating it; When you open a jar of this, you won't feel like you're just eating something; you'll feel like your sweet Italian grandmother has just dropped by with a bowl of fresh pasta and her own real homemade Italian red gravy.
I've tried a lot of jarred sauces, and this is one of the best. I never use jarred sauce because I prefer to make my own. This is one of my favorite phrases.
I LIVED IN NEW YORK FOR 8 YEARS AND FOUND THIS SAUCE AT A NEW YORK FOOD FAIR; IT IS THE FAVORITE OF MY FAMILY! I'M SO HAPPY THIS IS AVAILABLE TO ORDER ONLINE NOW THAT I'VE MOVED BACK TO CALIFORNIA! YES, IT IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN A REGULAR PASTA SAUCE, BUT IT IS AN EXCELLENT DELICIOUS SAUCE! VALUE FOR MONEY (nine dollars).
It was bland and soupy. If this is from a well-known restaurant, I will never dine there again. The sauce was runny and flavorless. The money spent was not well spent.
