This has a wonderful consistency that is neither too thick nor too thin. It's nicely seasoned. It served as the foundation for a homemade sauce. 1 pound italian sausage, 1 pound hamburger, tomatoes, fresh basil, chopped garlic, and a teaspoon of salt and pepper were added. Herbs from Italy Instead of 4, I cooked it for 1 hour. With my family, it was a big hit.
