Questions & Answers
I'm not sure if it's cow or sheep's milk, but it tastes exactly like the fake Romano cheese you can find in almost every grocery store, so I won't be ordering it again.
CHEESE HAS BEEN PASTEURIZED.
The problem is still the same. The color of the replacement I received is also off.
The following ingredients are listed on the package of Milano's Pecorino Romano cheese: Pasteurized sheep's milk, culture, salt, and enzymes are used to make this product. Caking is prevented by using corn starch and cellulose. Over a six-month period of age.

Arrived today, almost expired date (in 2 weeks) when stores usually have a longer shelf life. Note the yellow color of the cheese as opposed to the white shown in a competitor's brand. Since it has opened, I am unable to return. There's a weird odor to it, and it doesn't taste like cheese at all. I buy Pecorino Romano on a regular basis and am familiar with its aroma and flavor, so I'm fuming. I would not recommend this purchase and would rather spend the extra ten dollars on a better brand; I was extremely disappointed, and as the old adage goes, you get what you pay for!.
br>br>What I Didn't Like: Horrible flavor, nothing like Romano - Rather than being a good-looking person, he is a bad-looking Parmesan cheese is being tested. Packaging would have been much better if it had been in some kind of container - Rather than using a cellophane bag, consider using a canvas bag. Very dissatisfied. br>br>.
I'm not sure why I keep buying Milanos products. I've ordered multiple types of grated Parmesan cheese from them, and they all go bad within weeks of arrival, even though the expiration date is months away. br>br>This was stored properly in a cool dark space, and it has Green mold inside the unopened package. The jarred plastic container of cheese does know better. I'm not sure what's going on. . . I contacted Milanos, and they offered to send I'm not sure what happened to their product, but I'm not going to buy it any longer.
Excellent Romano; however, if you want authentic Romano, you must purchase it from Italy. This chess is delicious, with a nice bite and tangy flavor from the Romano cheese made with goat's milk. Only cow's milk is used in the production of these in the United States. You will enjoy it if you give it a try.
The purchase price was quickly refunded by Amazon, but I was disappointed. br>The cheese was still good for 8 months, but it was moldy. Perhaps there was a small hole in the package, but it was hidden. br>I'm not going to buy anything from this company - It contains a filler (anti-caking) as well as a darker yellow color that is not found in high-quality/fresh brands.
For Christmas, my family gave me a new cookbook. It had a unique lasagna recipe that piqued my interest, and I was eager to give it a try. Over the course of a few weeks, I gathered the necessary ingredients. I couldn't find Pecorino Romano Cheese in any of the stores in my neighborhood. I decided to order it from the comfort of my own home and have it delivered. The package was delivered to me. Despite the fact that the package stated "refrigerate after opening," I decided to keep it in the fridge. Lasagne was on the menu two days later. My family of six sat down to enjoy our time together after I spent three hours preparing this special dish. We started eating, and the lasagna had an odd rotten flavor to it. My husband thought I'd added an unusual spice, but when I told him about the cheese, he demanded a separate taste. It had been a nightmare. Rotten. Everything about the meal, the experience, and the time was ruined. Be Wary of the Buyer!.
For a variety of reasons, I was hesitant to order bagged cheese over the internet, but the price was right, so I went ahead and did it. This cheese has made me extremely happy. It has a strong flavor and smell, melts as expected, and comes grated, so I don't have to clean out my food processor. I keep it in a jar in the fridge and use it to season a variety of dishes.
I'm curious about the steps involved in getting a bag like this to a customer. Please do not purchase this product; I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time I received it, but the second time I received another bag with a black interior; it appears that this product cannot reach a customer without spoiling. Save yourself the trouble and buy something else.
