Just to set the record straight, let me say this. It is Romano, not Parmesan, that should be sprinkled on Italian food It's hard to figure out how we ended up in this tight spot, cheese A Romano can be difficult to find in any typical supermarket the store shelves are mostly filled with KRAFT Parmesan (in the green jar), and some carry a Parmesan/Romano blend that is According to my understanding, Parmesan is cheaper than other cheeses. There's a red shaker jar with KRAFT Romano inside, but it's not readily available. While I was pleased to discover this Milano's imported Romano, the bottle I received had been open for far too long. Having solidified to a sawdust-like color, and with a strong taste, the cheese was solidified and had turned a dark tan color.
The manufacturer should have this information on the bottle if it is not present.

I'm not sure where the Americans got the idea that they want to top their Italian spaghetti with Parmesan cheese. It's easier to find the Romano cheese in the supermarket, but it's a little harder to find. In best case scenario, you can find jars with the label "Romano" but when you read the fine print, you will realize it's actually Parmesan with Romano. But the real stuff exists The answer I found online is all you need to do is look for it a little.
It has a nice strong flavor compared to other store brands, and it was the best Romano cheese I've had in a while. If you don't grade your own cheese, then this is the next best thing, and if it's less than you spent, it's the best option. The product I am currently using is very good and I recommend it highly.
Since I'm Italian, I have to say that this is a great tasting product, and it melts like the real thing!
This is not the boring, tasteless stuff you find There is not much filler in this.
The cheese, which I have purchased from a grocery store, looked "off", like it was out of date (although the date stamp stated it was ok), and the taste was off. This product is normally kept in a cool area, was this cheese exposed to heat? It was won This item will not be purchased from this seller or Amazon again Amazon also offers this item for the same price. It was disappointing.
I opened the jar to see that it was full of moldy little clumps of cheese, which tasted weird on my pasta salad. The document has been thrown away. Obviously, I will not be buying this brand again, since I do not know what it tastes like when it is fresh.
Cheddar cheese of the highest quality! My whole life will be devoted to this. If you like scrambled eggs, try it! The quality of the product is much better than what I had been using at the grocery store for years. Yes, this is the one for me! It was delicious!.
My favorite way to eat spaghetti is with this sauce. There's no comparison between it and parmesan.
