The weight of the product should be increased by 4 pounds. Why is this necessary? I feel like I just got ripped off here. ?

My apologies if that is the way you feel. Because it is shipped in a flat rate shipping method, the weight of the package does not affect the cost. It is shipped with 3lbs of gel ice in an insulated cooler, making up the extra 4 pounds that are problematic. That should be helpful! **Best wishes -

The Comte we stock at the market is as close as it gets to the unpasteurized Comte you buy at the French market. The unique gift my husband received for Christmas was a great surprise to him. He likes this cheese a lot! Now I may never have the chance to bring him back to France. There is no need to go to his favorite cheese shop any longer!.
