It is true that the best feta is made from goat and sheep There is a problem with this product because cows' milk is used. The label "feta" is required by many countries. A product labeled as "feta" must use goat or sheep milk. Currently, the USA does not support labeling requirements for goat/sheep dairy products since this type of production is not commercially viable. Do yourself a favor and try the original version instead of the cow version. You can find it at delis that carry a variety of varieties.
Unless otherwise stated on a package, all cheeses sold in the United States are pasteurized according to FDA specifications.
Feta cheese is low in saturated fat, so how much is in it

This certainly doesn't qualify as feta cheese, despite referring to it on the container as "feta cheese. " The American version of Feta Cheese might pass as the real thing, but it may not even come close. The Feta Cheese in this recipe has the same flavor as cheese that has been left in the open overnight. It's a real cheese that has a runny consistency The text is too dry to read. It can be difficult to crumble real Feta Cheese This you could breathe on and it would crumble. If you want REAL feta, stop at a Middle Eastern deli or a Mediterranean one. If you want real feta cheese, do not go to Whole Foods and do not buy this brand. In other words, you'll get twice as much of the real deal for the same price as Whole Foods.
The feta cheese I'm eating is amazing. It is very easy to crumble over salads and even mix it into an omelette for a gourmet taste. The taste is a little less "tart" than other brands of feta. What about that kind of feta that you usually get with gyros and it tends to be very sour/tart? This feta is nothing The mild version is definitely available, if that is what you want. Over one cup of crumbled feta is about what I would estimate.
I loved the fact that it wasn't.
Using this on a vegan, non-GMO pizza crust made with coconut flour & sea salt was delicious. I used cauliflower, mushrooms, spinach, and a pinch of salt and pepper Cheese that's been shredded from organic milk.
It is better to buy other brands.
This is the preface These are terrific to have on hand to add to a lemon orzo pasta salad or top a frozen pizza with! Crumbled is never as good as buying a block and crumbling it yourself, but they go well on top of a frozen pizza!.
It has been our experience that numerous brands are available in many supermarkets, including Costco, however, this is by far the very best. There is just a small portion that needs to be.
If you like sour cheese, it does not taste like feta.
