It will last for a long time and the recipient will be pleased with the present. You can buy anytime starting now and keep it refrigerated and wrapped and they will be happy with it. If you wrap it in foil, even after it is opened, it lasts quite a while. We use a lot of stilton, but I'd say it is just as good if you use 3-month-old stilton. We will run out of our current one 4 months from now (and then we will have to purchase a new one). Thanks! I hope you find this helpful.

One of the best foods I've ever eaten. Cheese is one of my favorite things, and Stilton is my #1 choice. It is not easy to find. Shopping at Whole Foods and the like for hours and hours and still coming up empty-handed got tiring. check Amazon, and this brand was listed first. I looked at other less expensive options, but I know I only live once, so I clicked 'Buy'. Despite its early arrival, it was well packed. What would happen if it had been either a bust or a It would have been heaven if I had waited for it to get a little warm before I cut a thin slice. It's so amazing! This is simply the best! Superb flavors, subtle and distinct, without being overpowering or overspilling. Stilton is a blue cheese you may enjoy. This is a highly recommended title!.
This cheese was bad in every way-- it smelt bad, tasted bad, and was the worst I've ever had. A total of $60 was wasted. There is no ice pack with these since they arrived We were waiting for them for almost eight days before they finally arrived. The letters were sent on a Thursday and were delivered on a Wednesday a week later. It was 64 degrees outside and 64 degrees inside the cheese and ice packs. It is unlikely the USPS will honor any expedited shipping arrangements. It is also unlikely the seller will refund your purchase. That's not going to happen.
It is not quite right in terms of texture & STIlton has no bite as I remembered, it's creamy/slimy and the crust looks quite different and tastes like cheap US blue cheese. One can eat it, but it's quite expensive for not being real, perhaps it will become so after some drying. Stilton can be made in different ways. The local supplier no longer carries it. I guess it got too expensive. However, the ice packs were still frozen when they arrived, so it isn't a transportation problem.
It is the exact same quality but much more affordable. There is no comparison between Long Clawson and other businesses in the area. The next time I buy this, I will definitely purchase it again!.
Compared to all other cheese makers that produce a Stilton, this dairy's (Long Clawson) cheese is the best tasting and most satisfying. Stilton from any other dairy will not be purchased by me.
