You may disagree with me, but please listen up if you have grand ideas about Blue Cheese. You can, of course, eat more cheese, but that is not the reason I buy 3 pounds of it. In spite of the ice packs being completely melted when I got it, this Roquefort half wheel came in such great shape, and even though it looked cold when I got it, it was quite cool inside too. Its flavor is smooth but crumbly, making it an excellent ingredient to work with in recipes or to eat when paired with a glass of port. I highly recommend pairing it with port because it elevates both the flavor and texture of the pudding. Honestly, I have been so disappointed in the condition of other sellers that I am so happy with this one. I know I sound like I'm trying to sell this myself, but it is because I've been so disheartened with other sellers' conditions. While I have not heard great things about Societe Bee, I am a believer in it. Eat a piece of this with some port and it will do your taste buds a world of good.
I was pleased with the condition, considering the delay of five days. Although I normally only find small packages slices here, this was a pleasant surprise. Specialty shops aren't exempt from this rule. The product I purchased has been very good so far.
Although the food came cold instead of frozen, which is my only complaint, I would still give it five stars because of the flavor and texture. This is very creamy and smooth and crumbles easily into whatever you want. The flavor is nice and stinky (in a good way without being overwhelming) so I am very pleased with this My next order will definitely be frozen but I hope next time that it arrives very cold or at least very frozen when I finish this one.
There is no better feeling than this. I received the product in excellent condition and I am extremely pleased with its quality.
The product is absolutely fantastic. I have. The flavor of it is so amazing that I am unable to make words to describe it. I love to eat it with bread or salads and the taste of it is so great that it seems impossible.
It has good texture and is sharp exactly to the right degree. There was still some ice hard on it when it arrived but it was in excellent condition.
It is great to eat this blue cheese, great To crumble in salads or put on crackers, it should be smooth enough. This is rather expensive, but it is.
