I believe it to be the case.
No way! It should stay true to its color, which is a creamy beige, whether grated, shaved, or solid; if it is brownish, as you described, return it. I hope this has been of assistance.

No, I do not believe that is true. There were no cold packs when it arrived. I do, however, keep them refrigerated once they've been opened.

This cheese has a mild flavor to it, and it does not remind me of Asiago. It isn't bad, but it isn't great either. They also use a lot of starch and cellulose, which alters the texture and gives the product an odd mouthfeel. They don't hide it well, so you can tell it's not just cheese. I understand why anti-microbials are included. However, at least one other brand does not use clumping agents. There were no anti-microbial properties in the Classico Grated Parmesan Romano Asiago ingredients that clump together To be honest, Kraft Parmesan is superior to this, which is saying a lot. I had high expectations for this product and am disappointed.
DO YOU NOTICE THE DARK SPOT AT THE TOP OF THE PICTURE? THAT WAS THE MOLD FROM ABOUT AN INCH BELOW THE SURFACE IN THE PACKAGE THAT I SCOOPED UP. I WAS CLOSE ENOUGH TO THE SIDE FOR IT TO SHOW A LITTLE, SO I BEGINNED DIGGING. br>br>STABLE ON THE SHELF UNTIL OPENED. EXCUSE ME, BUT I DON'T HAVE ANY.
This was my first time buying sprinkle cheese, and the flavor blew me away. I prefer it to their sprinkle parmesan by a smidgeon, but they're both excellent products. It's even better when a little of both is sprinkled on top of pasta or pizza. I'll buy it again, and I'd recommend it to anyone.
It should've been sent in a box. It smelled delicious, but in today's environment, I wouldn't risk eating it. I've had other Milano cheeses from the supermarket, and they're excellent. The only issue was with the shipment.
It's very dry and powdery, not nearly as good as buying real asiago block cheese, which has a sharper flavor and no sawdust.
I'm a big fan of Asiago and had high expectations for this grated cheese. However, it has a powdered milk flavor to it. I'm not going to put this on my pasta or salad.
This was absolutely fantastic. I prefer Locatelli Pecorino Romano on pasta, in soups, and even on/in my eggs, but it costs anywhere from $16 to $18 per pound. Per pound, there is a charge of 20 cents. This Asiago grated from Milano has a great flavor and a similar bite to it. As a result, it is a very cost-effective option. As far as packaged Asiago goes, this is the most flavorful I've ever encountered. As a result, I'll be repurchasing this.
There are green moldy lumps in this cheese. It was only delivered yesterday, and it isn't edible. This is a cheese that you should avoid buying. It hasn't reached the end of its life cycle. I'm not sure why there is mold on it.
