In eight years, I'll let you know.
Milk or water with baking powder is written on the can.
You could certainly cook this over an open fire in a skillet, as long as you use a good heat source and use the proper cooking equipment and preparation. Please let us know how your results turned out!
BECAUSE OF THE SHELF LIVE, PEOPLE ARE BUYING THIS. ADD TO THAT THE CONVENIENCE OF JUST THROWING IT AWAY. SOME PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW HOW TO USE MYLAR BAGS PROPERLY. THUS FAR, THEIR FOOD HAS BEEN DESTROYED. BISQUICK, IN MY OPINION, MUST BE OPENED AND PACKAGED, AND IT COULD BE CONTAMINATED BY A CARELESS PERSON. TO HELP BISCUITS RISE, BAKING SODA AND BAKING POWDER ARE REQUIRED. BAKING SODA IS MISSING FROM SOME MIXES.

At Auguson Farms, it appears that bad directions are the norm. I enjoy their products, but it appears that the people who write the instructions have never attempted to follow them. It's the same with this biscuit mix. br>br>Following the directions on the can will result in a hard little biscuit that is technically edible but not particularly tasty, so I did some experimenting and have finally gotten some really good biscuits out of this mix. br>br>First and foremost, milk will be required. Ignore the instructions about using water. Second, you'll need to add some melted butter, and third (and most importantly), don't overcook it. the dough must be mixed! Don't knead it, roll it out, or do anything with it except gently blend your ingredients together to keep it together. Cut out your biscuits by patting the dough into a flattened disc. Brush the tops with a little milk, bake, and I think you'll be pleased.
I purchased a number of Auguson No. 10 cans. I decided to open a can of biscuit mix to see what I could come up with. The mix was only about halfway filled in the can. When choosing a company, think about the ingredients as well as the cost. I'm going to put some of my other purchases to the test to see if I should order anything else from them. BE AWARE THAT YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A COMPLETE CAN OF PRODUCT. If you're relying on someone for your survival, this isn't a good situation.
It wasn't even close to being difficult. And to go with it, I made a sausage gravy. He made a comparison to Hardee's. As a result, I'll be placing another order for long-term storage.
I wanted to make sure I had this after the pandemic and the shortage of flour. I make homemade biscuits on a daily basis, and if I couldn't get any of my biscuit ingredients, I'd at least have this.
I ordered two cans, one for now and the other for zombie apocalypse, and my wife mixed up a batch for me. The can's recipe calls for milk or water, as well as baking soda. She made use of milk. The biscuits were a little hard and dry when they arrived, but the flavor was good, and I ate two of them with butter on top. I'm not sure why they don't include baking soda or even dried milk in the mix, but that's the way it is. Perhaps some of their dried butter could be used to add flavor. We'll play around with them to see if there are any ingredients we can add to improve the outcome. The recipe calls for two cups of mix, which goes a long way toward emptying the can. Consider ordering extra cans because the can may not go as far as you think. When the zombies are obstructing your way to the supermarket, these will be delicious.
I've purchased a number of different cans from here, but I just opened the undamaged box in which this one arrived, and the can has a noticeable dent in it. I've always heard that a large dent reduces shelf life, and whoever boxed this product would have had to see and feel this dent. Worse, I can't seem to find a way to contact the company.
WHERE DO I TELL THE KIDS ABOUT THESE DRY ASAKATAS BISCUITS NOW? I GUESS I HAD A LOT OF THEM. A LARGE CAN. THE VALUE FOR MONEY WAS EXTREMELY GOOD. YOU CAN KEEP THEM FOR YEARS IF YOU KEEP THEM IN THEIR ORIGINAL CONDITION. MY STEINS SYRUP CANS WERE DESTROYED IN THE SHIPPING. WITH POWDERED BUTTER, THESE WILL BE OK. IF THE BUTTER CAN IS DENT. THE BUILDING HAS BEEN LEFT BY MAMA!.
I was a little hesitant to buy these after reading several reviews that said the cans were damaged when they arrived, but they were all on sale, so I took the chance. br>I purchased several different types of cans from Augason Farms, one of which was slightly dented but otherwise in excellent condition. br>I haven't had the opportunity to try them yet. They're in the earthquake preparedness kit for our extended family.
