It wasn't great back then, and most loaves were riddled with holes! They've obviously changed their recipes, as the bread is now much more flavorful and has a better texture. I also like the fact that the slices are smaller. I'm glad I gave them a second chance.
We had to get this because our usual bread was unavailable. It wasn't even on my radar that it was gluten-free. This was a big hit with my family. They were all under the impression that it was just another multigrain loaf. Although the loaf was smaller, it was still very tasty. Our family had never had gluten-free bread before. We'll make another purchase. It was no problem for my 12-year-old to eat.
Buyers take note: This is a very small object. I decided to try gluten-free bread and found the price to be reasonable. Regrettably, I failed to notice Amazon's size comparison image, which clearly demonstrates how small this is.
Look at how big it is!.
I like how it tastes like regular wheat bread; I'm glad I tried it. I lightly toasted the bread, then topped it with lettuce, turkey, pepper jack cheese, and pickles, as well as a mix of mayo and Sriracha with black pepper. After adding everything, I toasted it once more.
Terrible. It's stale and tastes bad. I threw it out because I didn't return it quickly enough. This is the last item I'll ever buy.
Updated. 2 stars in the beginning: br>I've already purchased several of these. I received two that were moldy, and the others developed mold quickly. It must be consumed within three days. The label indicates that the product has a longer expiration date, such as a year, but mold will appear in 3 days or less. It was only a few days, not even a week. I'm not going to buy anything else in the future. It's a pity, because the bread is quite nutritious and delicious. br>br>Update to 5 stars 01/18/2022br>Turns out you have to freeze it if you aren't going to eat it or keep it cold in the fridge. That was something I was completely unaware of. But if you do it this way, it won't go bad and will keep for a week or more in the fridge and weeks, if not months, in the freezer. I'm going from two to five stars!.
