I toasted two slices and then picked up the loaf to read about the different types of seeds it contained while eating them, and I noticed all this mold on the back end of the loaf. I threw all of the bread in the trash right away, and I was a little freaked out because I had only eaten 3 bites! Because of the package print and other factors, it was difficult to notice the mold.
Bread is fantastic! There's a ton of whole grain goodness here, as well as seeds and other goodies. Many other breads (including Dave's) have a lot of sugar added to them. These days, it's pretty much the only type of bread we eat. Great for sandwiches, toast, avocado toast, and other similar applications. br>br>Only caveat: We once received a loaf that was moldy and had to be returned to Amazon. I don't think it's the breadmaker's fault, but make sure to inspect all loaves when they arrive.
We've been purchasing it from Amazon on a regular basis for quite some time, and it's always fresh and soft. delectable Of all the packaged grocery store breads, this is, in my opinion, the next best thing to homemade.
My husband and I were recommended to try this bread by my adult son. It's his only source of bread at home. It's tasty and healthy, so it'll be a staple in my pantry from now on. When I want something different, I still have sourdough and Jewish rye. In addition, it has excellent fiber.
Terrible bread with a fishy aftertaste. This is the first time I've heard of this bread. There isn't any bread in sight. It's all the hard seeds that get stuck in your teeth. It has a very sweet flavor and an unpleasant fishy aftertaste. It is not something I would recommend, and I will not purchase it again.
The good news is that it can be found all over! It's incredibly moist, delicious, and filling. I've never thought about doing a bread review.
I wish the price was a little lower - It's about the same as what I pay at the supermarket, which is a bit pricey. But, since I don't splurge on much, it's a worthwhile investment.
This bread is more filling, tastes great, contains less sugar, and has a great texture. I enlisted the help of my entire family, including my finicky husband, and I admire the company's efforts.
