However, I was kind of disappointed that I didn't get what I had hoped for. I loved how gooey and sweet they were. In other words, it was the kind of thing I expected. I got the feeling that I was eating soggy peanut brittle since the flakiness has been lost. Even worse has happened to me. EDITOR'S NOTE The fact that I ended up buying another box of these after purchasing the first one tells you how much I enjoyed them.
It's so funny! This exact baklava was available in Greece, but we ended up purchasing it on Amazon instead of lugging it around for the rest of our trip. My colleague took it to work with him. It was eaten by coworkers. It's so thoughtful of us! Baklava that is tastier can be bought? Oh yeah, sure. I was surprised at how good this stuff is for a bakery. The product is excellent. I am very happy with my purchase.
My tastebuds do not register baklava at all. a little smashed, so luckily I decided to just try one first. They are yummy, but NOT as they were pictured. They are squishy, not crisp or crunchy at all with the honey adding a little softness. Oh, and I tried to post pictures but I am unable to see them, so hopefully they will come through and I won't be able to It's not a good company to buy from.
On the box there were no photos resembling the real thing. The top and the center of the salad were devoid of pistachios. Neither the chocolate nor the pistachio tasted like pistachio. It still tasted good to me, so I didn't rate it zero stars. Despite its name, the baklava does not taste like pistachio. While I liked how they were individually packaged, I was really disappointed that there was no.
Baked goods, especially Greek baklava, are wonderful treats. The Greek gentleman I worked with was a nice man. It is just heaven to eat phyllo dough, pistachios, and Greek honey in just the right amounts, and it makes me wish I could cook them myself. I have them for breakfast or with an evening cup of tea. They're absolutely delicious. It is worth the break and the food is always so fresh when it arrives. Thank you for letting us take a little trip to Greece with you.
It's not the fresh taste of baklava your mom or your Greek neighbor used to make and it is more expensive than you might think. Although I was pleased with the fact that they were not overly sweet, I am used to the great tasting mesquite honey we have here in the West, which is not as nice as the honey in these. I enjoyed the crunch of the walnuts. There is no doubt that this baklava isn't In order to get them to you in one piece, I would guess the packaging costs a considerable amount of money. The packaging is excellent as well. Having said that, these bites can be used occasionally as a treat as long as you enjoy the flavour.
This isn't baklava. I am not a fan. Although I apologize, the potato has turned mushy and seems to be soaked in water, but it has no real crisps on it. I appreciated the quick delivery of the box, and the fact that I was able to individually wrap each piece. What could have caused the texture to be smooshed?.
