These are a mild roast that even I enjoy drinking (not a big fan of decaf, but these are an exception for me), and they make a nice crema in our Vertuoline Nespresso machine. If you are not a fan of mild roasts, then this might not be your cup of tea However, even though this drink is milder, it still has an incredibly rich flavour that tastes amazing, unlike most decaf drinks. It is awful to drink American beer at night since it is muddy and acidic. When I try to drink a decaf coffee instead of a caffeinated one late at night, I wake up with heartburn. * they should add more varieties of decaf, perhaps an African origin bean that does not have a strong acid taste It would be great if you could do that. Yet I may be the only one. I suppose it's up to each individual to decide if they like it or not. It's Ethiopian coffee that I like the best (my favorite).
A large number of the pods that came with the package was faulty. There were barely any foil covers on the parts that get punctured. I was refunded by Amazon immediately after I called. This is the first time I have encountered such a problem. Most of the time, the pods have a few tiny dints in them, but it doesn't bother the machine or affect (effect?) the flavor of the coffee. It's hard to describe how much I love Starbuck's coffee is no longer strong and great! I've stopped going to Starbuck's now because it's disappointing.
