It is true. The flavor is outstanding and I will most definitely buy it again, but it is really expensive and not very filling. I wish they would PACK more sauce with less water and let us thin it out if we need to. In the future, I will switch to a product that tastes similar but doesn't rip us off with extra water.
I had to get 3 on amazon to get it for less cost at Whole Foods, but they only offered 1 bottle for less cost. In any case, I was able to give one as a present to someone I wanted to give one There is an asian flavour to this. Add 1 part red chili sauce purchased on the internet (red label with chinese writing 500gms green stripe near top)
to 3 parts of the black bean sauce and people will think you are a great There is no need to add anything else to spice up the dish, just fresh ginger, garlic, and carrots with.
The product was outstanding, had a very authentic flavor, and was a great alternative for Gluten Free consumers.
I use this sauce straight out of the jar, as it is one of the few I never add to or otherwise modify. I love it so much.
Black bean sauce is one of my favorites. I discovered this sauce at Whole Foods and now you can find it on Amazon as well.
My taste is way too sweet for this. As if they were candied yams, my vegetables tasted like There was an error on my part in not reading.
It was delicious. The following products are gluten It's not overly sweet, not too weird, and it's not cloying or weird. It's a little on the expensive side, but it's completely worth it. We had eight kids who were picky, and the adults liked it too. There will be no change to my cart once I leave this product there.
