Due to the fact that this isn't the original recipe, we decanted it into smaller bottles and discarded the large container. We have purchased a smaller bottle at a local store that has a June 2019 expiration date for my husband who is allergic to garlic and onion.
I don't believe it does. Hubby and I have been refilling our HP bottles from this 2 liter using a funnel for dozens of years.
Canada is the manufacturer of HP sauce. This sauce is perfect for steaks. Added to mashed potatoes, it tastes great as well.

It is not the original, and it does not taste the same. There are no Sorry, but not HP as you know and HP sauce is made by Heinz in the UK, but it leaves an unpleasant bitter aftertaste. An apparent crack on the side of the product caused it to leak all over the package and there is no end to the leak. This is not suitable for use. Replacing or refunding the item would be greatly appreciated!.
Upon arrival, I found the package to be in good condition and in good time. It's a little thin in the sauce, which is my only criticism. This is strange. I have no idea why this is. There is a fine taste to this sauce, but its thinness is a little off-putting. The standard individual packages have always had the right consistency for me, so if you can't live with this then you should buy the standard individual packages which at the very least are better value for money.
My only problem was that I had to search multiple sources for this size, but I am delighted to have acquired a larger one. There is something about that flavor that I cannot resist. If you spread it on burgers or add it to stews, it will really enhance their richness and flavor.
A former Brit who worked in the UK for almost a decade. The thing I missed the most was this. A piece of cod with HP Sauce on a microscopic scale.
