Questions & Answers
Be wary of the buyer! I just ordered four cans, which were delivered on 8/6/20 and have a 9/16/20 expiration date! And there's no way to get your money back!
I was also sceptical about the expiration date, but it was far away/ I was so impressed that I fed my children Amazon formulas and never bought from a store/ I never had a problem with prime shipping or expiration dates.
Our nurse advised us that once the bottle was opened, we could pour some of the milk into the baby bottle and keep the rest in the fridge for up to 24 hours. We reheat the milk for 5 minutes by placing it in a glass container in a hot bowl of water. I hope this has provided you with a satisfactory response to your query.
800- 284- Gerber can be reached at 9488. You'll need to call and give them a lot number, or the customer service representative will tell you what information they'll need to figure it out. I would call if the expiration date was not printed on the package.

The formula is fantastic in and of itself. For two of my children, I used Gerber Good Start Gentle liquid and powder. As a supplement to breastmilk, I chose these small bottles for my newborn. However, the batch I received (48 bottles) has a two-month expiration date. That might be fine for parents who want to feed their children only formula, but it won't work for us. Wish Amazon would stock products with a longer shelf life.
We use these bottles for feedings in the middle of the night, and they're fantastic. We used to use slow flow disposable nipples on these when our daughter was a baby. When the flow became too slow, I brought a bottle upstairs and poured the formula into it. With the ready-to-feed, our daughter appears to spit up less. On our most recent order, two bottles were missing from the shipment. I was angry, so I used Amazon's customer service chat, and the representative asked if I wanted a replacement or a refund right away. I was ecstatic and grateful that it had gone so smoothly. I'll be buying these from Amazon in the future.
A new review is being written. The seller has a better product that will expire in December rather than a month! Thank you for the new product! You have a happy customer and a happy mother! Psa This formula is excellent for supplementing or weaning nursing infants. Whenever possible, I prefer liquid to powder. There is a significant difference! Just make sure to stir the mixture rather than shaking it. I discovered that the bubbles created by shaking cause air to be consumed, making it appear as if the formula isn't working for baby.
This formula is one of my favorites, and it's the one that works best for my reflux-prone daughter (Powder). I'll be supplementing my newborn's diet with it when he's born in November (in liquid form). Because the hospital does not provide Gerber, I must bring my own. Ordered yesterday for tomorrow, and it arrived in perfect condition, on time, and with a great formula! Apart from the fact that it expires so soon (in December 2020), this formula is excellent. The delivery service is fantastic! In the meantime, I can give this batch to my daughter on the go because her doctor wants her to be on formula until she is two years old for medical reasons, and this is the only one that works for her. I'll have to wait until the baby arrives before ordering any more.
The first time I ordered this formula, it arrived quickly, perhaps the next day, but the expiration date was only two years. It will be three months before the event. I received it a few days later the second time I ordered it, but the expiration date is next year, which I am pleased with. I did notice that this formula is slightly more yellow than the Gerber ready to feed in cartons, but I haven't noticed any differences in the ingredients listed as far as I can tell. And, in case you're wondering, Medela nipples work on these if you don't want to spend the money on disposables all the time. I was also under the impression that this formula (like the powder form) included both prebiotics and probiotics, but it only contains prebiotics. Because the prebiotic it contains differs from the prebiotic in the powder formulation, your baby may react differently to the ready-to-feed version of this formula than the powder version, despite the fact that they are both Gerber Good Start orange.
The similac nipples fit on them, and I believe they're 3 and not 4 oz. These are super cute and convenient, but they can be heavy if you need to travel with more than two at once. as a result of which you can travel with them — again, this is convenient. They do, however, sweeten this formula with something other than lactose, so after about two months of use, you'll notice a difference. I'm going to put an end to it now. However, I've read that most baby formulas are the same because they're regulated by the FDA, and that this formula is a good value for money. The only real drawback is that they come in glass bottles. Plastic bottles are available from Similac and Enfamil. Best of luck!.
Traveling has never been easier! Purchase the Similac slow flow disposable nipples, toss them in your diaper bag, and off you go! The only drawback is that the glass weighs a lot in your bag. Aside from that, it's a resounding victory.
Because her daycare provides Gerber formula, I switched my daughter from Similac to Gerber. I wanted to keep her formila consistent, and the Gerber is cheaper and my daughter prefers it. Unfortunately, she no longer enjoys the Similac travel bottles that we had purchased previously.
