This was the winner after attempting four other enfamil products. This is a brand-new enfamil product, and we're so glad we decided to give it a shot. When your baby is a newborn, it's difficult to make those kinds of decisions, but nothing else seemed to work. At 2. He made the transition at 5 months, and he is a much happier baby now that it has been almost three weeks. There will be no more stomach issues, hard stools, loose stools, colic, or gas.
br>br>We are first-time parents, so take this with a grain of salt; I wish I could say we thoroughly researched all of the formulas available and only gave our daughter the best of the best, but. . . We didn't do a lot of research before we made our decision. To be honest, we're more of a "try it and see" type of family. br>br>We are grateful that our daughter was born healthy and strong seven months ago. We knew we wouldn't breastfeed from the start, and switching to formula was a difficult decision, but one we haven't regretted. And, fed is fed, and loved is loved, there's no shame in only formula-feeding y'all. This formula has proven to be ideal for us. We began using this formula right after our daughter was discharged from the hospital, and she has been fine; in fact, she enjoys it. Now I can confirm that it tastes like cardboard, but that is true of all formulas. We began introducing her to foods about two months ago and have had no problems; she has no allergies (yet) and can drink this formula as well as eat any purees we give her. br>br>We chose this formula because our daughter was becoming increasingly gassy as a result of her hospital stay. Given Enfamil, she would become extremely irritable, so we decided to give the Sensitive formula a try as a test, and lo and behold, she loved it right away. I like that it contains both lactose and soy, because I'm hoping that it will reduce the likelihood of allergies to both (but who knows). br>br>Since our daughter was a week old, we've been subscribing and saving these. We order five per month and have always had some overlap as a result of this. I've included photos of what's inside the boxes so you can see what's inside; we usually open one of the bags and put it in an airtight bag to scoop from. br>br>Although formula is more expensive than breastfeeding, we believe it is worthwhile because our daughter is still very healthy, and while I understand that formula does not account for everything, she is clearly receiving enough nutrients to thrive. Our daughter, who is seven months old and weighs 19 pounds, is seven months old today. 30 inches in length and width She hasn't had a cold in a long time and is otherwise healthy.
squirming during each feeding due to stomach cramps- It was all thanks to Gentlease! br>The first two-thirds of the first two-thirds of the first-third of We managed to give him gas drops with every feeding for the first three weeks of his life, but as he grew older (and ate more), the cramping, spit up, and other issues became more prevalent. The struggle (and crying) became increasingly difficult. br>We switched to Similac Alimentum (hypoallergenic formula) for a while, but it SMELLS AWFUL--as all the reviews say. The spit-up odor will not wash away from your clothes! We noticed a difference and realized it was due to his lactose intolerance. br>By week 8, we had discovered Enfamil Sensitive and decided to give it a shot. He's been eating so well for the past four weeks that he hasn't even spit up! That is. to the present! Why? Because I decided to add "a little" Gentlease powder to the batch so that I could gradually use it, given how much we have. This is a terrible idea! He even threw up in the style of a projectile! So now we know his stomach is lactose intolerant! br>ONE THING TO KEEP IN MIND: We've also added Gerber Probiotics to the mix (for the past two weeks) and they appear to be helping him poo easily and without straining. br>br>Congratulations on your child!.
I can't comment on the flavor because I'm not the one who is drinking it. The odor is awful, but that's to be expected with formulas. I wish there was a way for me to provide milk in a different way. With all of that put aside, it made my baby feel a lot better than he did before. Despite pediatricians' denials, I realized he has a Lactose Intolerance with my motherly instinct. His eczema worsened, and he couldn't seem to get rid of the gas in his stomach. It wasn't all bad, but it also wasn't all good. After much research, I decided to switch to this formula, and it was the best decision I've ever made for his health. The distinction is the time of day. day. Everything is in order, and the gas and bloating are no longer present. He can thrive without the nagging feeling in the pit of my stomach telling me what I already know.
My son has a dairy allergy, so any other formula made his stools very hard and painful. He'll only drink this one because it doesn't cause him any problems. We still mix this with his lactose-free milk to help him stay regular and get an even distribution of nutrients and vitamins now that he is 18 months old.
My baby was born five weeks early, and I was unable to breastfeed her. We used the hospital-recommended premie formula, but she would cry for hours at a time when we brought her home. For three weeks, she was constipated and gassy. It was difficult to make the switch because it is lower in calories than what was recommended, but I'm glad we did because she became happier, slept better, and the constipation stopped after we switched. She's now four months old and growing up big and strong, just like every mother wishes for her child.
We began by giving him Enfamil Enfacare, but it caused him to vomit! Similac Neosure is also a good option. We attempted a few more but were unsuccessful. Other formulas made his reflux worse, gave him gas, and made him unhappy in general. We're glad we gave this formula a shot. It took him about ten days to adjust, but he's much happier now! It's helped with his reflux, is gentle on his stomach, and he's back on track! He adores this stuff and gulps it down every time; best of all, he's gained a lot of weight as a result of it. It has literally saved my life!.
