Questions & Answers

Is it true that this formula causes gray stools in babies?

This has been in use by my son for the past nine months. If your child has gray stools, you should consult with his or her pediatrician.

I bought 5 cans, which tasted and smelled rancid when I opened them and made a bottle. The same thing happened when I made another one. Is there anybody else out there?

It was never a problem for me. It was utilized by both my daughter and son. I mean, it smells awful, and I've never tried it because of the smell.

Is it the same formula that you're used to?

It's not the same, but it's better in my opinion. My friend's child tried to enfamil him, but he caused him harm, and that was the only remedy he tried since he was born. My recommendation is that you try it to see how it affects your child or child, but it is one of the few times when it does not cause a reaction in the children.

What's the product's quality like?

The Gerber SoothePro had the best reaction from my son. Ensure that you purchase from the Gerber website.

This is an excellent formula
5/5

This is a fantastic recipe. My son has tried three different formulas (Similac Pro-, Simlac Pro-, Simlac Pro-, Simlac Pro-, Simlac Pro-, All three (Sensitive, Similac Isomil, and GoodStart Soy) worked, but only for a short time. He was extremely gassy, spitting up all of the time, and was extremely colicky. I didn't think he had a lactose allergy, so I took a chance and tried the GoodStart Soothe as a last resort because it seemed to address all of the problems I was having. I weaned him the same way I did the other switches, and he seemed 1000x better after the first feeding. He was so much better by the time he had been completely weaned. Spitting was rare and only occurred when he didn't burp. His BMs were regular, he had very little gas, and he had no more COLIC! My only real gripe is the price. The soy formula isn't cheap, but this isn't a bargain. Amazon is $4-$5 less expensive than the grocery store. On the other hand, most baby necessities are costly, but I will buy them regardless because they have helped my son tremendously.

Great recipe; if the scoop is too big, use a funnel
5/5

The scoop is too large for Dr. Brown's bottles, which is the most common complaint, but this formula is a lifesaver. Baby's stomach problems are no longer causing him to scream. Similac (sensitive and pro-inflammatory) was one of the products we tried. On our pediatrician's recommendation, we switched from sensitive) and Infamil to this. She claims that the protein is much more easily broken down by the baby's stomach. I also use Dr. Brown's bottles, and while the scoop isn't ideal for them, it's not a major issue. If the scoop isn't working for you, simply get a funnel. They cost somewhere between $2 and $3. 3 and make the whole thing a lot less difficult. br>br>Baby is still spitting up, but I think it's my fault because of how I'm mixing the formula. I was vigorously shaking it, but I read that swirling it reduces air bubbles and subsequent spit up. In any case, the problems with this formula can be worked around; the most important thing is that the baby enjoys it and that it does not cause him any discomfort.

The big scoop has a simple solution! So far, this is the best deal I've found
5/5

We reside in the state of Florida. W**- ***t carries this can, but it's frequently out of stock, and there's no $10 off if you buy two at a time, so I buy 6 of them for a month's supply of formula, and the last can was only $6 thanks to the $10 off every two cans deal. The only "con" about this product is that I see people complaining about the size of the scooper on Amazon. I feel pretty lucky to have found such a deal, and Amazon is fantastic about getting it delivered on time every time. Tommy Tippee wide mouth bottles and evenflo vented plus standard size bottles are used by my little one. The scoop is the same size as the hole in a standard-sized bottle. However, the solution is quite simple. I paid $7 on Amazon for an OXO formula dispenser that holds three bottles of formula. It's much easier to pour it into a standard bottle this way. Overall, I don't consider the scoop to be a deal breaker. With Amazon's offers, the cost of this can would cover a month's worth of formula dispensers. As a result, the scooper is perfectly acceptable to me.

My daughter used this formula for a few months and found it to be very good
4/5

Because it was comparable, we switched to Walmart's Parents Choice Gentle. Gerber is a bit pricey, especially considering it would only last my daughter a week. My daughter had stomach problems, gas, and discomfort, and this helped her. Parents Choice Gentle is a good analogy, and my daughter has had no problems switching. br>br>This Gerber container is brand new; the previous one was rectangular rather than round. I don't like the new round one because the scoop is so large that I had to be careful when dumping it into the bottle because if you don't hold it over the formula container, the formula will spill all over the counter, wasting an expensive product.

If you use Dr
3/5

Brown bottles, I'm not interested in purchasing. If you have a Dr. Brown-style bottle, don't buy the new packaging. The scooper included in the new packaging is far too large for the bottle's shape. You inevitably spill a lot of information. I'm not sure how this design managed to pass muster. I ordered a 30oz bottle of formula, so the scooper issue may be limited to the larger size.

Finally! A good night's rest! Unfortunately, our second child was born with a weak stomach
5/5

We tried Enfamil and Similac for sensitive tummies. He was still having gas pains and waking up almost every hour. Gerber was suggested by our pediatrician, and for the first time that night, he slept for three hours straight: We couldn't have been happier! He's almost sleeping through the night now, three months later. This formula appears to be in line with his instincts.

The scooper, for example
5/5

This method has proven to be extremely effective. My baby's colic and fuzziness have been relieved thanks to it. Because my milk made him sick, we decided to find the best formula we could to make him happy, and here it is! The new packaging now works except for the scooper; however, I was able to locate the old packaging and save the old scooper, so I no longer have to worry about the new one. It doesn't help that the new one is dark, and you can't see if there are any ridges to ensure you're getting a full scoop. For those who are having trouble with the scooper, I hope you can track down the old packaging and save the old, transparent scooper so you won't have to suffer when pouring it into the small neck bottles.

It's fantastic for reflux
5/5

I've used this formula with both of my children and it's been a huge success. Similac is a product that has been tried and tested. Nothing had worked for their reflux until a good friend told me about Enfamil and how well it had helped her baby. I mix the formula in a Dr. Browns formula mixing pitcher, which results in fewer bubbles by the time the baby drinks it and makes getting the milk into the bottle much easier. The taste and consistency didn't bother either of my kids, so I'd recommend this formula to anyone!.
