We've tried every type of Similac and Enfamil we could get our hands on from their sample boxes. br>br>Primary Issues with Similac: Even after a couple of hours in the fridge, the foam is clumping and has a fishy iron smell. br>Primarily, Enfamil has the following issues: It was costly, and it caused my baby's poop to have the consistency of playdoh, causing him to have severe constipation. We even tried the regular orange Gerber brand, but it turned my baby's poop grey. Because of this, the Gerber A2 formula is the best. br>Formula with the best scent - There are no fishy or irony odors. It does have a pleasant scent. br>br>Never clumps and dissolves quickly even with a gentle shake of the bottle. br>br>Ingredient composition is similar to that of breastmilk. The very first component is Lactose is a type of lactose that is found in dairy products. Fat (oils), third-protein, and, of course, A2 casien (doing some research online - best I could)br>br>Baby digested milk faster than other formulas, which aids digestion, but he became hungry a little sooner than other formulasbr>Baby cried less and appeared happier. br>br>I'm hoping that this formula continues to be used. This is only the second time in my life that I've felt compelled to write a negative review. This formula was great for our little guy until we received a shipment of bad canisters. I was feeding when I smelled rancid vegetable oil in the first bottle we made. When I finally came to a halt, I was met with diarrhea and vomiting. Throughout the night, I had reflux and fussiness. I smelled one canister and then opened the other; both smelled rancid and were unlike any of the other canisters of this formula we had purchased. We contacted Gerber because the package was sealed and had an expiration date of November 2022. What we got was essentially a form letter advising us to speak with one of their infant nutritionists in order to find a formula that would be better suited to our baby. What a complete blunder! As a chemist, I'm familiar with the smell of rancid oil, and the problem wasn't just that this formula didn't agree with his stomach. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and sorry for the inconvenience, here's your money back would have sufficed, but I guess they preferred to make me feel as if I don't know how to feed my child. All is well now that I've switched to enfamil A2. I'd give the formula five stars if it wasn't spoiled, but zero stars for customer service; just make sure you check the formula before feeding it, and don't expect any help if your product isn't fresh. To be clear, this incident occurred just prior to the product's rebranding, which makes me wonder why now.
This is a fantastic recipe. My baby is more regular, with seedy, non-green, and less odorous poop that resembles breastmilk. There were no stomach problems, and the foam was not excessive. It hasn't got a bad odor to it. This is a good option for me.
I tried a couple of other brands and didn't care for them until I tried Gerber! Gerber's formula has a similar consistency to breast milk and isn't foamy like some other formulas on the market; because there aren't as many air bubbles, the baby is less fussy. It has a silkier, smoother feel to it. My baby's stomach is soothed, and he sleeps soundly through the night (night feeds are formula). I strongly advise you to give it a shot.

He's been doing well on this formula for the past ten months, but the new labels on the cans are causing him to vomit. (However, his stomach is fine when we return to one of our older cans. ) I'm not sure what happened or if we just got a bad batch, but we're back to square one, trying to come up with a formula that works for my little one. I'm not happy with this at all, and because of the inconsistency, I won't be buying this brand again.
We were using Similac pro sensitive at the time, but after switching, we noticed a significant difference in our baby. I would give it a ten out of ten rating!.
Our baby had always been gassy and fussy, and no formula had ever helped her feel better; however, this was a miracle, and it helped her relax. We were able to reclaim our sense of calm. We ended up purchasing their toddler drink for my brother's son, and it worked like a charm on him. This is something I would strongly recommend.
