I usually give Similac sensitive to my newborn, but I decided to give this brand a try because of the positive feedback. My newborn baby became constipated and had stomach pains after the second day of using this product. As he strained and cried out in pain, tears streamed down his face. It broke my heart to see my baby in such distress, and all I could do at the time was hold him gently, rub his back, and pray to God to help my baby overcome this problem. I opened his diaper after he had finished straining to poop and saw one large hard green poop ball. My baby dozed off after all of the exertion. Although the other reviews were positive, this product may not be for every baby because their digestive systems are not the same. I cannot speak for other parents, but I will not be purchasing this product again and will return to feeding him Similac sensitive. As a mother, you want to protect your child at all times, and seeing my child suffer because of this product made me feel helpless, and I never want to feel that way again.
This is something that my child excels at. There was a significant reduction in gas consumption and a reduction in irritability. With this brand, she gets full and barely spits, whereas the gassy brands make her gassy while giving her no tummy aches. This is something I'd suggest to my formula friends. For formula, it is worth its weight in gold. I just wish I could scrounge some coupons from time to time.
