This could have saved me a lot of money. This formula is identical to Similac Advance, so moms don't have to second guess. You're literally paying to be associated with a particular brand.
I like their long spoon and spoon holder (see photo)br>It's very easy to scoop and store after use. The texture of the formula is similar to similac on its own. br> I use name brand (similac, enfamil) for morning feedings where I know a baby will drink it all, and I use this brand when I'm not sure if a baby will drink it all, so even if it's wasted, it's not a lot of waste lol.
So far, it's going well, and it's a lot less expensive than similac!.
It is impossible to open with one hand; you must squeeze the entire box in order to gain leverage on the lid. Imagine trying to make a bottle while holding a screaming baby and being unable to quickly and easily pop the lid off. Nope. The money you'll save isn't worth the hassle. br>In addition, the scooper lacks a small hole for easy scooping and pouring. The formula becomes stuck in the scooper and simply flops out, causing a mess.
We use Mama Bear Advantage at home and Similac Ready to Feed at day care (their rules), and we're thrilled that our baby doesn't seem to mind switching between the two. They're nearly identical in terms of nutrition. We are thrilled to be able to obtain high-quality products through Amazon's convenience.
I liked that all of the ingredients were as close to cow's milk as possible. My child was in excellent health, with no problems or gas. Overall, the price and quality of the product were well worth it. The only problem was that there would be a scarcity of supplies. After a while, they impose restrictions on what you can purchase. So purchasing in bulk from Fresh Direct was not an option. If you want to save money on Prime, order in bulk.
My baby liked it, and switching from breast milk to formula was no problem for me. My baby wasn't as frequent as before, so I was nervous the first week I got it, but the doctor assured me that this was normal. I did notice that the baby began to spit up more, which I inquired about with my doctor, who advised me to keep the baby upright for at least 30 minutes after feeding, which seemed to help.
It's an understatement to say I was pleasantly surprised. My LO was on Gerber at the time, but her feces had turned a dark teal color. We began to notice that her burps and spit ups smelled like stomach acid as a result of it. br>br>At first, I tried it because of the low cost and the fact that my large Gerber containers were always out of stock. Now that we've switched over, I'm completely sold on this method. br>br>Baby is thriving, happy, and healthy!.
