It may not be a cheap option, but I took a chance on this one to go with the Series X controller because others from Microsoft are too expensive at the moment. Even has a charge light, like the one that they have on a Microsoft USB stick The C does not have a screen, and it has a long beaded cable so it can sit back and charge if you forget to.

Approximately half of the silver adapter is in, the other half is stuck out, and it's had to do the odd things I've had to with my dying cables like going in and out of things to wedge them between
