I'd had a Wii for a long time but couldn't connect it because I didn't have the appropriate cords. We finally bought this converter, and it worked right away, so now we can jam out to Michael Jackson while we're in quarantine!!.

The HDMI cable is extremely inexpensive and has already failed

Connecting the HDMI cord into the TV's connection box seemed like a great, low-cost way to be able to play the WII with our Samsung frame television. It causes it to stick out several inches further from the wall, which makes it bulky, as other reviewers have pointed out. Apart from that, we were pleased with it until the HDMI cable end broke off when my child needed to remove it to use it with the DVD player. I mean, I expected it to be of lower quality given the price, but the HDMI cable is so cheap that it won't even stay together? If you don't have an HDMI cable or want to replace one, this isn't the product for you. Alternatively, don't intend to unplug the HDMI cable from it at any point.

The first time it works, it's fantastic! It works! I tried a different brand and found that two of their units were defective

This worked perfectly the first time, and it was simple to set up. On my Samsung Q-2020, I used it. TV show series The image quality of the game is superior to that of standard AV cables. The sound quality is excellent. I used an HDMI cable that I already had, so I can't say much about the cable that came with it except that it appears to work. It was a few dollars more expensive than other brands, but it works, so I don't mind. I am extremely happy. This product comes highly recommended by me.

br>br>I keep reading about how there are differences, but in all honesty, they will all get you to your desired destination. If you're modding your Wii, make sure you get a gamecube controller so you can finish the steps that cause the Wii remote to disconnect.

We needed to purchase an adapter. It functions satisfactorily. The grandsons can play, but the screen is a little slick due to the snow. I'm not sure if it's because of the adapter or because of the new cable we ordered. I'll share this with an electronics-obsessed friend to see what he has to say about it.
