Questions & Answers
Yes, the GameCube will support it. The 1024MB of memory is split into eight sections, giving you eight 128MB cards in one. One of the eight red lights on the memory card will indicate which of the eight sections you are currently using; to change which section of the card you are using, simply push the card's button (this only works while it is in the console).
It necessitates a significant amount of room. But, fortunately for this memory card, it has a LOT more memory than a typical memory card.

Wow. When I first opened this and saw that it had a button on it, I was completely perplexed. For the first fifteen minutes after it was installed in my console, I was puzzled as to what the button did. Then I went into the GameCube's system UI to fiddle with it, and after copying all of my old saves to one, I panicked when it refreshed and showed nothing. I was certain I'd lost all of my previous saves. My saves came back after a few more presses. br>To get around the GameCube's maximum storage option, it divides the memory card into eight separate virtualized memory cards. That's fantastic, and I absolutely adore it.
I recently purchased a Wii (RVL-1) that is a vintage model. I wanted to play GameCube games as well as Wii games, so I bought 001) secondhand. So, after getting a GameCube controller and a few games, I started looking for a memory card, and after looking at a few websites and comparing prices, I decided to check out what was available on Amazon. I found this incredible card after a quick search, and when I saw that it was the equivalent of eight in one, I knew I had to give it a shot. br> I was not disappointed when it arrived. Although the information on the packaging isn't the best example of English grammar, it does provide the essentials for the card (and doesn't change how good it is. ) ) One of the card's small lights lit up immediately after I inserted it into the slot. I turned on the Wii, inserted a GameCube game, and then created a save file, going so far as to test each of the eight memory banks, which were all recognized correctly. Now, while this is probably more memory than the average person will require, it is well worth the money (especially when compared to the cost of a card that is an eighth the size of this one. ) )br>If you're looking for a new GameCube memory card, this is the one to go with.
I had no idea it wasn't just one big memory card; it has a button that allows you to cycle through a number of different memory cards. The type of "card" you're using is indicated by an LED indicator. It occurs to me that this is most likely done to work around the gamecube's maximum memory card size detection limit.
The item has been purchased. It didn't work on either my Wii or my GameCube. Both of these systems were unique. br>It was returned and a replacement was ordered. It happened once again. br>I received a refund.
It's super neat. This was purchased in order for me to be able to play my GameCube with a large amount of memory. And it's a complete success!.
The only thing I don't like is that switching between memory banks must be done manually. To be honest, it's a minor gripe because it hasn't affected me yet, but I can see how finding the "bank" where the save you're looking for is located could be a hassle if you have a lot of them.
I usually prefer official Nintendo products, but this third-party memory card blew me away! You will not be sorry if you don't act now.
For what I needed it for, this was an excellent purchase.
