You can use the amiibo reader on the new 3ds if you have a new 3ds. To use an amiibo on an older model, you will need to purchase the NFC reader separately.

I liked the amiibo, but it came in a damaged box

This was a product that I bought a while back. The product itself deserves 5 stars because of its high-quality details, but the packaging deserves just one star because of the poor condition it Although the mail box it came in was undamaged, the cardboard box in which the product was packaged was I therefore deemed that since the mail box was in good condition, they had simply sent me an amiibo that was in poor condition in its cardboard box. Obviously, packaging would be the biggest concern for people collecting these, but I can see why someone might be concerned about it While I wasn't thrilled with how damaged the box that contained the amiibo was, it was still better than nothing The box hadn't particularly been on my radar as I didn't want to keep this amiibo in it. The overall design is the best I have ever seen in an amiibo and it's totally worth the price, so if you can get it, check it out.

I am a fan of You cannot tell from the pictures, but this is a lot more attractive than you expect! I have a Metroid Amiibo collection, and this is a nice addition to my collection

Boss character that is the best Since it is a picture of just the Amiibo, it came in the box, which is what I had hoped for

Please subtract from Please don't exceed I just wanted to bring something to your attention). Would it be possible for me to get two? The first one is to be opened and the second is to be kept Until I can get another one to open or get a new one from somewhere else, however, I will have to be content with this for the moment. I am glad I was able to get one of my favorite characters.

The only time I get these, I keep them in the box and almost all of them end up bent if you have a collection of them. If you intend to buy them to start a collection, you might be better off heading to the store where they are available.

I have nbsp There is an amiibo in it, if you like collecting those or if you like metroid, you will enjoy it. The way blue colors appear and blend in certain parts of the mask and gun is very appealing to me.

The only problem is that it has a seemingly veiny texture? The majority of the game model looks like it should have been more eggshell smooth based on the game model? This one is a bit of a nit-pick I just have a picky thing to say.
