Questions & Answers
On the Nintendo Switch, you can use cards.
You'll get repeats, but the cards appear to be completely random, with no "rares," so you should have a good chance of getting new cards in each pack up to a point. br>Reddit is also a good place to go if you're really into collecting. com/r/amiiboswap br>By trading through the connections on that site, I was able to collect all of Series 1 ending with only 5 repeats!

Selected User Reviews For Nintendo Animal Crossing Cards - Series 2 (Pack of 6 cards)
I was given a set of three.
The cars are fine, but these are three-packs rather than six-packs; I purchased two and was left with half of the cards I had ordered.
We only received a pack of three, despite the fact that it stated that it was a pack of six.
I ordered a six-pack and received exactly what I asked for. I just wanted to let you know that all of the cards worked in Animal Crossing: New Horizons on my Nintendo Switch! This is a buyer I will definitely buy from again!.
It's worth noting that, while these cards are compatible with Animal Crossing: New Leaf, they are not compatible with Animal Crossing: Wild World. Unless you have a Wii U and the Animal Crossing game on that system (party game or something) or you just like collecting the cards like me, you should probably buy the New Leaf Welcome Amiibo version. They are slightly more limited than the Welcome Amiibo cards you can purchase at a higher price. br>br>Here's a quick comparison of Series 1 and Series 2. The difference between the four amiibo cards and the Welcome Amiibo cards is that the first has an RV full of stuff with the villager on it, which shows you what they'll have in their RV if you invite them. The Series 1-only Amiibo cards allow those villagers to visit via RV, but the Series 2-only Amiibo cards allow them to visit via RV. 4 cards, at best, allow them to live in your village or grant you one free, random item (as well as special cards, such as Pave's offering you their photograph if you want it; Keep in mind that each pack will contain one unique card). br>br>So get the Welcome Amiibo card packs if you want the RV visits, which means you'll have to buy a lot of furniture and accessories. These are also excellent for simply attracting villagers to your village.
I got my first Amiibo card package and I didn't know what to expect tbh, I just wanted to see which ones I'd get and I'm fine with the villagers I got, I already invited Pekoe to my island in Animal Crossing New Horizons, the cards took a while to arrive but nothing that wasn't stated when I bought them, I'd buy another package in the future because you can kick out specific villagers like this hehe. I'd recommend them because they appear to be a good collectible and useful item.
These are standard-size cards with small chips on them that can be used to bring the characters to life in either Happy Home Designer or New Leaf (after the November 2016 update). The colors are vibrant, and the shine on the special character cards is fantastic. These cards can be used to entice people to move to your town in New Leaf, or to recruit the character as a client in Happy Home Designer so that you can design their home. Naturally, if you don't have the "New" 3DS, you'll need an NFC reader. The NFC reader will set you back around $20. If you're not going to use them for the games, they're a little overpriced, so I can't say I recommend them in that case. These are fantastic if you're willing to spend an extra $20 or have a 3DS with an integrated NFC reader. br>The picture of the cards I received has been added, but keep in mind that there are 100 different cards in the series and each pack is random, so don't expect to get exactly what I did.
These were fantastic. I purchased three packs and gave away a couple of the smaller figures. I didn't get any repeats and got the two I wanted! (Whitney and Pecan) I doubt I'll get any more, primarily because I don't want any more of my original neighbors to relocate.
