One of my controllers was able to be repaired, but the second one continues to drift after being replaced. It's not as bad as it was before, but it's still not as good as new. The slide locks and tool kit are features that I appreciate. If both joysticks worked, I'd easily give it a five-star rating. Since the original joysticks did not work, the seller contacted me and sent me a complete set of joysticks and tools. The new ones have been tested and have proven to be effective. They are deserving of 5 stars for their unwavering commitment to their products.

Not b. , but I was ecstatic to get it. c It now has a new joystick, but only because the company read my review and wanted to make things right. This is the place to get a Drift repair kit! I have two sets of controllers, and both of them are drifting. br>br>I bought two of these to fix both of them. Installed 1 set, everything went smoothly, then installed the left Joycon on the second set and the right Joycon on the third set. It's not going to stay in the middle. As a result, I calibrated several times. It's still not centered, and it's not hitting the bottom-left calibration line. It's as if the joystick is skewed to the right and slightly forward. br>br>The three that are currently working are fantastic. The tweezers were made of solid metal and were of excellent quality. The pry tools were extremely well-made. The screwdrivers were a disaster. On the first controller, they dismantled themselves into points. Fortunately, I have my own set of drivers that I can use instead. br>br>I'd appreciate it if the company could send me a replacement single joystick for that particular controller. merely an idea: As a result, I'm able to give it a perfect score of 5 stars. Overall, don't be hesitant to purchase this one. It's possible that I've just received a bad joystick.

Pre- note: It's because I didn't have any problems that I didn't update this to say something went wrong. br>br>I used to have joycon drift, but after installing these new sticks, I no longer have it. The included tools made opening the joycons a breeze, though you should always keep an online guide open while working on the tiny electronics. These work better than the originals, in my opinion, because they have a slightly notched interior construction that allows the stick to rest in extreme vertical/horizontal positions, similar to how the gamecube's outer shell grooves felt around the stick. This is an over-the-top feature of a regular stick. You're never sure if you're pressing too far in one direction because of the smooth rotation. br>As everyone else has mentioned, after installation, make sure you calibrate.

Both of my joycons had been drifting for over a year, and Nintendo is fixing it for free, but it's not currently available in my country (Mexico, because LATAMEL just makes a lot of excuses even when Nintendo made it official). I was so fed up with it that I decided to buy this, and I'm glad I did. br>br>I recommend watching tutorials first to get a general idea of what to do, as the left and right joycons are constructed differently! I found it more difficult to replace the right joystick than the left (I accidentally desoldered the R button). I'm aware that this company provides tutorials and even a small business card as part of the kit, but I didn't notice them. br>br>I've opened and fixed controls a lot of times before, so I have other screw drivers, but I must say that the ones in this kit are really comfortable and easy to use, to the point where I didn't even need to use the replacement screws that come with this kit because the default ones in the joycons were taken out smoothly and without problem. br>br>Overall, the tools and pieces are well made, and it's a nice touch that their joysticks are wired green instead of blue (as is standard) so there are no questions about which joystick needs to be replaced (attached photo shows the default joycon joysticks). Another thing to remember is that after replacing the joysticks, they must be recalibrated in order for them to detect the dead zones and neutral position correctly. This is done in the switch configuration system, and the joycons work perfectly fine after that. br>br>In conclusion, I would recommend purchasing this kit; it's great for a "do it yourself" repair; everything arrived exactly as promised and within the delivery time; I waited a week to write this review, and despite the fact that it's not a long time, I've had no issues with my joycons at all, even though I only use them when I use the switch in portable.
