It is available to the public. It's been a while since I've used it, but it continues to work. Included is a charging cable.
This is a forged document! This is not the place to get it from. When I connect it to Windows 10, it displays as a ps3 game pad, whereas the real PlayStation controllers display as a ps3 controller. The led lights on the genuine PlayStation 3 controllers are flush, whereas mine are not. In addition, I use sco toolkit, and a fake PlayStation controller is labeled as such, whereas a genuine PlayStation controller is labeled as such.
Yes. It was a genuine PS3 controller in my case. It appeared to be nearly new. However, the charger cable was not included.

This is not an official PlayStation 3 controller, and it is not black (mine arrived in camo). The Sony logo is missing from above the start and select buttons, and the PS button simply reads P3 in white letters rather than the Playstation logo, indicating that it is not an official controller. My controller doesn't last longer than thirty minutes after being charged. I charged it for a full day and still only got about a half hour of use before it died, so it's possible this is a refurbished item. This will be returned to you.
It worked for a while, and I had a sticky L2 button that would usually fix itself with a shake or a bump, but after some heavy use, it became unusable after about three weeks. I get it because it's a secondhand item. Even so, it's a pity.
This was bought to replace an older controller with broken trigger buttons. When I first got it, I charged it for about four hours and it still wouldn't turn on. It appears that the controller has been re-manufactured. I connected it to the play station with an old USB cable I had (it didn't come with one) and it worked fine; however, when I disassembled it to look for extra parts, I discovered that the battery inside had swollen to twice its normal size and was completely useless. I replaced the battery with one from my old controller, and it now functions properly. It would have been pointless if I didn't have parts from an old one. However, it does appear to be attractive.
Well, the controller came in a nice neat package that was very clean and professional, but the rest of it was filthy and worked perfectly except that the battery did not hold a charge, and this is the second one I bought from Amazon and the other one was the same, so I'm not happy.
BUYING THIS PRODUCT IS A MISTAKE! I paid $60 for a black Sony PS3 controller (as advertised) and received a pink no-brand controller that will not connect to the console. DISAPPOINTED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT! This is a remote that should not be purchased. Now I have to deal with the hassle of a refund.
I received it by mail. It was also not contained within a box. It was mailed in a bubble Manila evenlope envelope. The buttons are stuck now that I've plugged it in. When you press up or down, it slowly glitches before disappearing. This controller did not meet my expectations. I'll be back to look for another.
These items were difficult to come by after the PS4 was released. It is exactly what it says it is: a PS3 controller.
