DuelShock 4 for PlayStation 4 runs smoothly on Android. I don't know what to say about these because I only use them for PlayStation 3.
I'm not sure about other systems besides the PS3.
You might be able to get it that way, but I preferred the gold. green. You've got a decision to make.

To begin with, the controllers have a similar feel to the original PS3 controllers, albeit a little lighter and with slightly different buttons, but it's adequate where it counts. These are a steal at this price. When playing PS2 games, the controllers take a little longer to connect than I'm used to, and the LEDs don't always show which player you are (it works occasionally, but not always). Although the buttons are stiff, they do not appear to be cheap. I had a defective unit with a stuck left joystick and strange divots in the thumbsticks when I first got it, but my replacement didn't have any of those issues, and overall, this product is fantastic for the price.
They wouldn't sync to the PS3 with the cord that came with them, but luckily I had an old cable for the PS3 that worked perfectly. The response time, on the other hand, is appalling. Because the joysticks don't move your view or character until you push them nearly all the way in any direction, making minute adjustments difficult, if not impossible, when playing shooters. They also have a hard time dealing with multiple buttons being pressed at the same time. If I press one button, I have to wait a full second before pressing another, or it won't even register that I've pressed it. Which will muck things up and put you at a disadvantage in combat scenarios. I can't imagine using these controllers to perform combos in a fighting game like Tekken. If the cord is left plugged in, the response time improves and becomes almost normal, but the joysticks are still not quite right. I wouldn't recommend these unless you're only going to play turn-based games where response time isn't an issue.
These were a good purchase for me because I wanted to play Medal of Honor Airborne. The chords are short, but the controllers work perfectly; in other games, the controller will automatically switch to a different controller number. This is done automatically to ensure that the controller is compatible with the game. That's something I discovered while playing Resident Evil 5. When I accidentally pressed the PlayStation button, I discovered that it was set to controller 2. When I switched to controller 1, the game didn't work. After that, I changed it back and it worked.
not good for intricate moves)br>br>also, since getting these controllers, I've had to unplug my PS3 to keep it from turning on at random times throughout the day (which I didn't have to do before)br>br>- One pair had to be returned because one of the controllers would not pair with the system. Fortunately, the second pair arrived before I had to return the first, because one of the second pair's controllers had the same issue. br>br>As soon as I have the time, I'll go to Gamestop and get a refurbished OEM set and toss these out.
The good news is that these appear to have parts that are interchangeable with genuine Sony controllers, so you could use them to repair your Sony controllers (take the battery, the plastic housing, and so on). However, if your original Sony joysticks are still functional, you should use them. These don't have a lot of slickness. The results will be herky jerky and not quite what you intended compared to the smoothness and precision of the Sony controller if you use the joystick at a diagonal angle or just oozing it over slightly instead of jamming it all the way over. This appears to be more important in some games than others. It probably doesn't matter in Skyrim, but you'll notice the difference when batting in a baseball game or driving a car racing game. These are decent, but not up to par with the original.
After placing an order, it was delivered quickly. It took about 3 hours to charge the first time. The black one's sticks were a little stiff, and it took a little more effort than usual to use them. The blue one was unable to maintain its charge. They didn't use the dualshock feature at all. Both controllers were put to the test on The Last of Us: Resistance. The Fall of Man Drake's Fortune is a fictional character. Shaking the controllers had no effect in terms of recharging the game flashlight or fending off attackers. Because the product description stated "Sixaxis Dualshock," I expected them to work in that manner. I returned these the next day for a refund using the UPS label that Amazon provided.
The analog stick functions properly, but the acceleration is a little excessive. I haven't found any dead spots on either of the controllers I received, but it's difficult to control the sight reticle in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 even on stick sensitivity one. Aim assist is always disabled in my game. It's better than nothing, but it's nearly impossible to play if you rely on precision control. The Sony controller is a lot more convenient to use. The feel and appearance are good, and for a backup set, the price tag I paid (I believe it was $16 for a pair) is probably justified.
