Excellent value for money. This is an excellent remote. It's a smoother, more plastic-like material. y than Sony's controllers, but that, in my opinion, is a good thing. It's fantastic for gaming; I had no issues or complaints while playing Little Big Planet. Everything is in working order. This remote is compatible with my Sony charger. The battery life isn't great, but it's still an improvement over the originals. Let's be honest here. br>br> The old remotes are a pain in the neck. Within three years, they will have shitted the bed. I've gone through a lot of original PS3 remotes, and they've all broken down at the same time. It's possible that's why they're no longer produced. Regardless, it's pointless to spend $65 on a Sony remote when this one works just as well. Although the buttons are unattractive, the color is a significant plus. Another benefit is that it turns off automatically when you're not using it, saving your battery life and ensuring that your battery doesn't die when you're just trying to unwind while watching Netflix. br>br>Saving money is a good thing, because this remote is fantastic. Even better, the price is incredible. There are no regrets about 100% money well spent.

I'm not sure if it's a ruse or if both of the controllers I got are defective. I bought two of these for my daughter for Christmas, and when she opened them, we discovered that neither of them worked with her PS3. I'm not sure what to say about coming back on here; all I know is that we tried to sync them like any other PS3 controller and they just blink. When I pressed the reset buttons with a needle, all I got was blinking. If there's a trick to getting it up and running, I'll update my review, but for now, I'm dealing with a very upset little girl and a frustrated mother.

My old controllers died, and the replacement batteries aren't compatible with the originals. For the price, these aren't bad, but they do expire quickly.

It's exactly the same as the one he had before. It's simple to maneuver the buttons. It's something he really enjoys.

I have to pull the left (L) stick back to the middle after it gets stuck in the upper right. That's how it felt the first time I used it. It's also made of cheap plastic in comparison to the original controller that came with my PS3, and it's slightly larger than the original PS2 controller. It's not the end of the world, though, because I'm not a huge gamer, and with some practice, I became accustomed to using this controller and am now making it work for me. It'll be a good backup controller for when I have people over to play games with me, but I'll never let them use it. I'll also point out that this controller's shortcomings are not due to Amazon's fault. It's self-evident that this is due to the controller's lower cost. Aside from that, the packaging was excellent, and the package arrived quickly.

EDIT: Now, only a year after purchase and with very little use, when I unplug it from the PS3 after charging all night or day, a battery warning appears. Unfortunately, I won't be able to use it unless I order a very long charging cord so that I can play with it while it's plugged in. I was let down. ___br>br>I got this because of the color, as I had a similar one that drowned in a flood. Unfortunately, there isn't much of a charge in this one. I'll charge it all day and possibly get 4 hours of use when I pick it up to use it. This is fine for light gaming, but if you plan on watching Netflix or dungeon crawling all night, I recommend investing in a longer charging cable. It's not bad, but it's not particularly impressive.
