Questions & Answers
It's possible that you'll have to look up the code for your TV on the internet. With the press of a single button, your cable box and television will both turn on.
Something like an rc6x would be needed for D12. Just a heads up, you'll need to replace that receiver with an HD receiver soon due to a technological advancement.
A smart television will do this for you because it has the necessary codes.
Everything you buy on Amazon is backed by Amazon's guarantee. You have thirty days to complete your task. Simply contact customer service, and they will assist you. They're the same remotes that ATT will charge you $15 for each!

If you don't have Directv's protection plan and want two remotes for less than what they charge, you should get these. My old remote stopped working, and I had to call Directv to get it fixed. They said I wouldn't be able to get the protection plan at the time, so I told them to wait and I'd buy it on Amazon. I was able to find not one, but TWO remotes for less than the $15 charged by Directv. They're identical remotes, and I have one to use and one to keep in case the other one breaks. They work, have a good price, and are of good quality. BUY THEM!.
These are incredibly cost-effective, and programming them is a breeze! I didn't need to use any of the online tutorials; all I had to do was plug in the batteries and follow the prompts through the entire setup process. THANK YOU SO MUCH!.
I have a 6-year-old who is rough with everything and recently broke the original remote in my living room. Years ago, the battery compartment cover on both my living room and bedroom remotes began to fall off. As a result, we'd been driving around with the batteries exposed. Since I can remember, my hair has been falling out. These were very reasonably priced when I ordered them. It's incredibly simple to put together. They do exactly what they say they will. I wasn't sure, to be honest. I was a little worried about what AT was going to say. Replacement remotes from T/DirecTV would have cost us more, but these were a great deal for a set of two. Because these are genuine Directv remotes, I'm sure we'll eventually run into the same battery cover issue (which isn't the seller's fault), but for now, we have two working remotes. Remote controls that are INTACT. If the need arises in the future, I will definitely return to this seller to buy more.
These remote controls are of very poor quality. Directv hasn't come up with a way to make remotes that are more durable and long-lasting. It was a mistake to merge with ATT! These remote controls change the channel on their own. It's a pain to work with. They irritate me to no end. It would only be fair if I could receive a complete refund as a customer! br>Janebr>I am adamant about getting a refund for these remote controls. They don't have any value. They're "TOYS," as the name suggests. I'm not trying to sell them; instead, I'm returning them for a complete refund. ON YOUR WEBSITE, THESE REMOTES SHOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE. I JUST ORDERED AND WILL RECEIVE ORIGINAL OLD STYLE REMOTES THAT WILL STAND UP AND WORK FOR AS LONG AS I USE THEM, UNTIL I DIE. I've reached the age of seventy. THESE RC73 IR/RF REMOTES WERE GIVEN TO ME WHEN I MOVED TO THIS LOCATION AND ARE "TOYS" LIKE THE PRODUCTS MADE IN CHINA WERE IN THE PAST.
Setting up these remotes is a real pain. I'm usually pretty good with electronics, but these are causing me a lot of grief. It took a long time for my receiver and I to pair. Finally, they were able to control the receiver, and all that was left was to set up the television. They've been set up to control the television, and now they'll only be able to control the television. There is no mode selector like on older remotes, and they appear to be stuck in tv mode, preventing them from controlling my receiver.
The puppy ate one, so this is a perfect replacement. Of course, she also devoured a spare remote. It's a good thing there's a two-pack.
It was simple to program as a remote control for both my TV and DirectTV. I pressed the on button after turning on my television and inserting the batteries that came with it. My direct television turned on and worked, so I followed the instructions for making the TV work with the remote as well. I didn't know the model number of my Sylvania television, so I chose the "I don't know my model number" option, and it found it for me in a matter of seconds. It required me to confirm volume and test it. It was simple to complete the task. I was given the option of adding a sound system, but I don't own one. I spent more than two hours looking for my misplaced remote, so I'm glad this option was available! It came the next day after I placed my order! I AM EXTREMELY GLAD!.
Because a neighbor informed me that ordering through DirecTV would be prohibitively expensive, I turned to Amazon. These Amazon remotes appear to be identical! It works perfectly! It was simple to set up on our television. There was no need for programming because it worked right away. That caught me off guard. Except for the fact that the battery cover does not stay on, I would give it five stars. I tried the extra remote's cover, but the problem persisted. It comes undone. I attempted to use an old remote cover, but the snap piece is slightly different and will not close. So, in order to keep the battery cover on, I'll have to resort to duct tape, which I despise. Still, $6 for two DirecTV remotes is a good deal. If I needed something else, I'd buy it again. EDIT: br>br> The remote's channel functioned almost instantly. I still have to program the volume buttons to make them work. It's a little inconvenient, but I'll give it a shot when I have some spare time.
