The disappointment is so great. The TV was fantastic at first, but we returned it after a few weeks due to a lack of use. If you use a channel, app, game system, or DVD to feed the player, the volume is all over the place. In the end, the tv screen randomly going black was what made us decide to return it. Several different factory resets recommended by Insignia have been attempted for the screen as well as customizing the volume settings for sound. There has been no success.

There is consistency between the model numbers and the description, but the model is listed as an LED television when in fact it is an LCD television. You should not expect the same contrast ratio as an LED TV from this unit since it can't achieve that. I must admit that the function of the TV is acceptable and I am not returning it because I had already thrown away the box. However, I am very disappointed in what I bought.
